In terms of appearance, the new car is based on the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring model, which is the first special edition model created by Porsche for the Australian market. It is also the first market-specific model of the Porsche 911 GT series. The new car has not made significant adjustments to the exterior, and the 911 GT3 Touring model's iconic oval headlights, air intake openings in front of the cover, and layered bumpers have been retained. However, as a special edition model, the new car has its own fish scale silver metal gray car paint. It is reported that the color matching is derived from one of the first two Porsche 356s imported into the Australian market in 1951, which is very commemorative.
The side of the new car also maintains the elegant and smooth lines of the 911 model, and the low body and fast-back roof shape also bring it lower wind resistance. The large five-spoke rims on the special edition model have also been painted to make the effect more harmonious with the color scheme of the body. Of course, the new car also hangs the Australian flag and special edition model logo in the B-pillar position, further highlighting its different identity.
In terms of interior, the new car also did not adjust the overall design, but added special details. The special edition model added the word 70th anniversary to the threshold position, the one-piece sports seat was colored in graphite blue, and the Materaskaro fabric material was used in contact with the human body. At the same time, the new car is also printed with a 70-character print on the central armrest, showing the identity of its own special edition model everywhere.
In terms of power, the new car will continue to be equipped with a 4.0L horizontally opposed naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 509 horsepower and a peak torque of 469 Nm, matching a 6-speed manual and 7-speed PDK transmission.
