Douban was fined another 8,000 yuan, and has been fined 20 times this year

On December 13, the Tianyancha App showed that recently, Beijing Douwang Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Douban, was fined 8,000 yuan by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism for publishing and disseminating online publications containing prohibited content.

Previously, it was reported that on December 1, the Cyberspace Administration of China interviewed Douban and ordered immediate rectification in response to the recent problems related to Douban and its accounts. The Cyberspace Administration of Beijing Municipality fined Douban.com Operator Beijing Douwang Technology Co., Ltd. 1.5 million yuan. From January to November 2021, Douban has been punished 20 times, with a cumulative fine of 9 million.
