01 The story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai did not take place in Jiangnan but in The Yuan clan of Hebei; "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai" is China's national intangible cultural heritage, and "The Legend of the White Snake", "Meng Jiang Girl Crying on the Great Wall", "Cowherd Weaver Girl" and called the four ancient Chinese folk love stories. Since the beginning of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it has been circulated in the folk for more than 1700 years, and is known as the song of love for eternity. Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai is composed by Bai Pu, one of the four masters of the Yuan Qu. Notes on the "Bai Pu" entry in Ci Hai (1999 edition): Bai Pu, a yuan opera writer. A native of Kuizhou (隩州, in present-day Hequ, Shaanxi), Juzhending (present-day Zhengding, Hebei). Bai Pu lived in Zhending as a teenager and went to Fenglong Academy to study with Li Ye as a teacher. According to Yuan folklore, Liang Shanbo is a Nanzuo person, Zhu Yingtai is a Long Village person, and Ma Wen is a Maling person, all in the Yuan Mountains, and not far from Fenglong Academy. When Bai Pu was studying at the academy, it was very reasonable to create "Zhu Yingtai Die and Marry Liang Shanbo" according to the Fenglong Academy and local legends. Bai Pu's creation was first performed in Zhending, and in middle age, he brought the script to the south and performed in Jinling. Because there are academies everywhere, which has aroused wide resonance in the north and south of the great river, the play was later renamed "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai". In the hundreds of years of performances in various places, the story has been processed and adapted several times, forming such a perfect plot that has been spread to the whole country and even the world, while the birthplace of Liang Zhu's story, Hebei Yuanshi and Fenglong Academy, has been forgotten by people, and even many locals do not know.

02 Legend of Liang Zhu, there are many authoritative experts and scholars who have verified that it really existed in history, and the love story between them is also a real event that did happen in history, and there are many historical materials and cultural relics and monuments to support.

1. The Ming Dynasty Chongzhen edition of the "Yuanshi County Chronicle" clearly records that "in the northwest corner of Nanzuo Village, where the Shuyuan Road passes, there are ancient tombs in the southwest tower of the bridge, the mountains and rivers overflow, the impact is slightly unstable, if there is Yin as the protector, it is said that it is the tomb of the Liangshan Bozhu Ying clan." Chen Lianshan, an associate professor of the Department of Chinese of Peking University and a scholar of folk literature, believes that this record is undoubtedly the most favorable historical proof that Yuan Shi produced the "Legend of Liang Zhu".

The Fenglong Academy, which was originally built in the early Song Dynasty, still retains the reading cave where Liang Zhu and liang Zhu read together, and at the same time, there is an ancient tomb next to the stone bridge "Wu Bridge" in the Song Dynasty, which is known as one of the eight views of the ancient Yuan dynasty, and is said to be the tomb of Liang Zhu and the two people buried together. After inspecting the Fenglong Academy located on Yuan's Fenglong Mountain and reviewing relevant historical materials, Chen Lianshan believed that "the 'Legend of Liang Zhu' can basically be linked to local scenic spots and historical sites, and there are sufficient historical sources and folk materials." ”

What made Chen Lianshan quite excited was that the local rural yangge drama also had an interpretation of Liang Zhu's story. In the play, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai slept on a plate of kang in the academy, and the loyal and honest Shanbo was unaware of Yingtai's daughter's body and fell asleep. Zhu Yingtai sang: "Teach you to grasp you not to grasp, teach you to touch you not to touch, kick to your arm socket ..." The local language is simple and vivid, and it is very local.

According to the "Record of Ghosts" by Zhong Sicheng in the Yuan Dynasty, one of the 15 Yuan Miscellaneous Dramas created by Bai Pu, one of the four masters of the Yuan Qu, is called "Zhu Yingtai Dies and Marries Liang Shanbo". Yang Xiqun, a staff member of the Yuanshi County Local History Office, said that according to research, Bai Pu once studied under Yuan Haoqing and became a dramatist because he wrote a variety of miscellaneous dramas. According to historical records, Yuan Haowen has been active in the Area of Fenglong Mountain for a long time. Yang Xiqun said that Bai Pu's miscellaneous drama is likely based on local legends, but unfortunately the script has been lost.

"Yuan's version of the 'Legend of Liang Zhu' has obvious local characteristics, which can fully explain that it is widely circulated in the local area." Yue Yongyi, an associate professor at Beijing Normal University and a scholar of folklore and folklore studies, said. Unlike the existing version of Liang Zhu, the "Legend of Liang Zhu" passed down by word of mouth in Yuanshi County has many details that differ from the existing version. In the Yuan version of the "Legend of Liang Zhu", Ma Wencai is called Ma Shilong, and Zhu Yingtai died by hitting a monument and was later buried with Liang Shanbo, "so it has a more vivid realism and is more authentic and believable." Yue Yongyi added. [2]
