Counting up, the bookstores in Peking University's "Triangle Land" are not large. There are two bookstores next to each other in the triangle, one is Xinhua Bookstore and the other is Peking University Bookstore, 300 meters east of the triangle, and there is also a new cultural bookstore. Although these three bookstores are not large, the stock of books is very impressive. The variety of books is also all-encompassing, colorful, political, economic, philosophical, natural, social sciences, astronomy, geography, literature and art, religion, foreign languages, and various tools and books. What I like the most is to put myself in the unique book-buying atmosphere of the "Triangle Land" bookstore. Pushing the door into the bookstore, the first contact is the friendly and gentle gaze of the owner. The number of times they came, they were familiar with each other's faces, and they nodded slightly or smiled silently, which was considered to be greeting each other. Then, walk slowly to the bookshelf and start flipping through the books you like and want to buy. Sometimes it's just for browsing. At this point, you enter a state where the room is unusually quiet, everyone is reading with bated breath, even the sound of flipping books is so slight and weak, everyone is afraid of disturbing others, everyone is so engrossed. This kind of book-buying environment and atmosphere created by cultural people has brought every book buyer in the bookstore into a situation of transcendence. At this time, it seems that only the book and themselves are the only beings, and everyone faces the bookshelf, watching and silently choosing here. When there are many people, there is no open space in front of the bookshelves. At this time, you will find that although each book turner looks so focused, they seem to be using their minds to sense and care for book buyers other than themselves at any time while flipping through books. When you feel or perceive that your position is hindering others, you take the initiative to move your body and pour a space for others. Occasionally, two people make eye contact, and you will also taste the unique gentleness and etiquette of the book buyer from each other's expressions and eyes, although silent, but they are compatible with each other. I have come here to experience more times, and after a long time, I have gradually come to the conclusion that the book buyers here are basically Confucians and students of Peking University, and their high cultural literacy and cultural level have created a unique book buying atmosphere for Peking University Bookstore. This is not an exaggeration. I have been to many other bookstores in various places, but the book-buying atmosphere in the Peking University Bookstore is outstanding, and there is a special atmosphere of elegance in the quiet. Or for this reason, every time I enter the Peking University Bookstore, I seem to have been culturally and psychologically influenced and re-infected, and I feel invisible self-improvement and spiritual purification. Another important reason why I love to go to Peking University Bookstore to buy books is that the books here are new and fast, and the grade and taste of the books are as clean and elegant as the cultural environment of Peking University. There is no way to find anything cluttered on the stalls here. If you want to buy any vulgar books, don't come to the Peking University Triangle Bookstore. Of course, the owner of this bookstore also recognizes money and also talks about economic benefits, but the superior cultural environment and specific readership of Peking University determine that the taste and level of the books entered cannot go with the flow. So, just because, this is Peking University. If there is a new book publishing, Peking University's "Triangle Land" bookstore can be described as a "near water building", and good books and new books come very quickly. Through the "Triangle Land" bookstore, we can also predict the latest dynamic trends in the current Chinese literary scene and cultural and ideological territory (the grass and trees in the spring, Peking University, which is an impressive place, undoubtedly has such an innate advantage). Like Liu Zaifu's "Theory of Character Combinations", Wang Jiangsong's "Tragic Human Nature and Tragic Life", Yifu's "Tujie" and other high-quality works with profound connotation and influence, hundreds of copies came in and sold out in only three or two days.
