author:Qi Shi Moyuan

As a judge and a judge, he tried to save Qiu Jin's life, but he was unable to return to heaven, and 100 days after Qiu Jin was righteous, he committed suicide by hanging himself on the beam at home!

Qiu Jin, born in 1875 AD, a famous female revolutionary at the end of the Qing Dynasty, a generation of female heroes, known as "female heroine Qiu Jin".

She often wears men's clothes heroically, known as a hero, her famous saying is "not in the male column, but the heart is stronger than, male fierce!" ”

In 1896, like many girls in feudal society, through arranged marriages, the 21-year-old Qiu Jin married Wang Tingjun, a rich second generation who was three years younger than her and only 18 years old, and this marriage was also the fuse for Qiu Jin to embark on the revolutionary road and thus part ways with her husband!

After getting married, Qiu Jin found that the husband and wife not only had different hobbies and aspirations, but even talked like "chickens and ducks talking", although the husband and wife had two children in life, but "the tao is different and do not conspire", Qiu Jin cherished the world, devoted herself to the rolling torrent of saving the country and saving the people, and ran for the revolution with the goal of overthrowing the corrupt Qing government!

Although her husband and her own pursuit of goals are different, Qiu Jin still has a hint of extravagant hope to persuade her husband to work with her to overthrow the corrupt Manchu Qing government.

But her husband did not hesitate to refuse her, and scolded Qiu Jin: "Are you gambling with the lives of the whole family and keeping the big family business to live a good life?" ”

In the eyes of her husband Wang Tingjun, Qiu Jin's approach was undoubtedly to seek her own death, and later it did become a fact, and Qiu Jin used her life to achieve her own eternal martyrdom!

Her husband's attitude made Qiu Jin change from extravagant hope to despair, and the husband and wife gradually drifted apart, and Qiu Jin also borrowed the famous sentence of Xie Daoyun, a talented woman of the Eastern Jin Dynasty: "I don't want there to be Wang Lang between the heavens and the earth!" ”

Xie Daoyun's husband Wang Ningzhi was the second son of Shusheng Wang Xizhi, but this person was pedantic, believed in the "Five Buckets of Rice Sect", and when he was in charge of the internal history, it coincided with the "Rebellion of Sun En", Xie Daoyun organized the people to resist, but Wang Ningzhi burned incense to worship the Buddha and prayed to the gods to put down the rebellion, and as a result, Wang Ningzhi's whole family was killed, leaving only Xie Daoyun and his nephew, Xie Daoyun was not humble in the face of the executioner, and her righteous and awe-inspiring integrity touched Sun En, and finally was sent back to his hometown to raise the heavens!

Xie Daoyun repeatedly advised her husband to cheer up, but unfortunately in vain, so he issued an exclamation that "I don't want there to be Wang Lang between the heavens and the earth"!

In July 1904, Qiu Jin went to Japan to study, during which she often participated in speeches on revolutionary salvation and feminist movements, met many revolutionary heroes, and her husband Wang Tingjun's ideal of "Mingzhe to protect himself" went farther and farther!

Qiu Jin "does not love red clothes and loves arms", often dressed in men's clothes and rides horses in the world, running to publicize revolutionary aspirations, she was also regarded as a thorn in the eyes of the Qing government.

The Qing government sent people to hunt down revolutionaries, their homes were constantly destroyed, so they also continued to move, and Qiu Jin continued to carry out anti-Qing uprisings after joining the League, but it backfired.

On July 6, 1907, the news of the Revolt of the League leaked out, and for the sake of safety, it was forced to change the date to July 19!

As a result, a big event happened that day, and it was this incident that caused Qiu Jin to go to the guillotine!

On July 6, 1907, the revolutionary Xu Xilin was arrested after assassinating Inspector Enming, and his heart and liver were taken out and fried and eaten by the Qing soldiers, and his brother Xu Wei defected after his arrest and gave up the entire list of revolutionaries, and Qiu Jin was naturally among them!

4 days later, Qiu Jin and others learned of Xu Xilin's sacrifice, and the Qing government sent Shaoxing Shanyin County to order Li Zhongyue to search for the revolutionary party, Qiu Jin in order to cover her colleagues, she and Tan Si at that time, refused to flee, saying that they were willing to shed blood and sacrifice for the revolution, and Qiu Jin was arrested!

Li Zhongyue of Shanyin County had long admired Qiu Jin's style of women, and he was very sympathetic to Qiu Jin, so he deliberately let the soldiers "release water" and deliberately did not search the residences of Qiu Jin and other revolutionary parties, so he always returned in vain and was often reprimanded by his superiors.

And when Li Zhongyue interrogated Qiu Jin, he did not go to the public court, but met privately, just like the guests chatted about home, and he often reprimanded his son with Qiu Jin's education and deeds, saying that you are far from Qiu Jin's ambitions! ——What Li Zhongyue's son Li Jiangqiu said when he went to Hangzhou in 1936 to meet Qiu Jin's younger brother Qiu Zongzhang

Li Zhongyue admired Qiu Jin very much, and he tried his best to save Qiu Jin's life, not only not to torture her, but also to treat her with courtesy.

However, the superiors constantly exerted pressure and ordered Li Zhongyue to strictly interrogate Qiu Jin in an attempt to make her say that she was in the same party, but Li Zhongyue always violated the orders of his superiors: "Yang Fengyin"!

After futile efforts, Guifu, the prefect of Shaoxing, was ordered by Zhang Zengyang (Zhang Zhidong's nephew and grandson) to issue an order to Li Zhongyue: "Qiu Jin will be put on the spot to correct the Law"!

Li Zhongyue spoke fiercely, saying that no one could kill people without evidence, but Guifu said: This is an order from your superiors, how dare you disobey?

At three o'clock in the morning of July 15, 1907, Li Zhongyue and Qiu Jin met and said to her: "I tried my best to save your life, but I am humble and powerless to save, killing you is not what I mean, please forgive me!" ”

After saying that, Li Zhongyue's tears fell like rain, qiu Jin of course also knew Li Zhongyue's bitterness, she knew that Li Zhongyue was a good person, but wanted to save her, Li Zhongyue was "willing to kill thieves, powerless to return to heaven"!

Qiu Jin learned that she would die, so she put forward three conditions, one is to write a final letter to her family, the second is not to take off her clothes during the execution, and the third is not to be beheaded after death!

Li Zhongyue agreed to Qiu Jin's last two conditions, but he really couldn't do the first one!

At the end of his life, Qiu Jin expressed his deep gratitude to Li Zhongyue for his efforts to save himself and other revolutionary parties!

At four o'clock in the morning, Guifu, the prefect of Shaoxing, forced Li Zhongyue to escort Qiu Jin to Shaoxing Xuantingkou for execution, and Qiu Jin was only 32 years old when he died!

After Qiu Jin's righteousness, Li Zhongyue was impeached by Guifu for repeatedly shielding Qiu Jin and disobeying his orders, and 3 days later, Li Zhongyue was dismissed from his post and returned to his hometown, because he was like a brother to his subordinates on weekdays, so he won the hearts of the people, and the brothers all cried to send him off.

Li Zhongyue said to the send-off person: "It doesn't matter where I go or stay, but unfortunately I have not been able to save the loyal and righteous people, this is a regret in life!" ”

After Li Zhongyue returned to his hometown of Hangzhou, he often regretted for the prison of Qiu Jin, but it was also a fact that he was powerless to save, but Li Zhongyue could not forgive himself.

On October 19, 1907, 53-year-old Li Zhongyue committed suicide by hanging himself from a beam at home, just over 3 months after Qiu Jin was righteous!
