On the same day, a delegation composed of netizens from the famous city of Yangzhou, readers of this newspaper, and student representatives of Guangling College of Yangzhou University visited Zhu Ziqing's former residence, Shi Kefa Memorial Hall, and Xiong Chengji's former residence in turn, braving the sweltering heat. Zhu Ziqing was born in Donghai County, Jiangsu Province, because his grandfather and father both settled in Yangzhou, and he graduated from The Eighth Middle School of Jiangsu Province (now Yangzhou Middle School) in Yangzhou, and later worked as a teacher in Yangzhou, so he called himself a Yangzhou native.
In the struggle against hunger and the civil war, Mr. Zhu Ziqing, who was seriously ill, signed the "Declaration on Protesting the US Pro-Japanese Policy and Refusing to Receive Flour Aided by the United States" and instructed his family not to buy and sell flour, and always maintained the integrity and sentiments of an upright patriotic intellectual. On August 12, 1948, Zhu Ziqing died of a serious stomach disease.

Shi Jun, a sophomore student of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Medicine of Guangling College of Yangzhou University, is a cadre of the department's student union, and he took several classmates to participate in the "Search for Red Footprints" activity this time, hoping to more deeply remember the patriotic spirit of the revolutionary pioneers through his own personal experience, and study and carry forward.
Shi Jun, a college student, believes that the patriotic spirit of some college students is now missing, and this visit is also to bring more students to the former residence of revolutionary pioneers in the future and cultivate patriotic spirit.

Subsequently, the delegation went to No. 6 Weijiajing near Dongguan Street in the downtown area, the former residence of Xiong Chengji, a pioneer of the Xinhai Revolution. The staff first introduced the life and deeds of the owner of the house, Xiong Chengji, to the visiting group. On February 27, 1910, after Xiong Chengji's death, the coffin was transported back to his hometown of Yangzhou for burial.

On the same day, the delegation also came to the Shi Kefa Memorial Hall at No. 24 Guangchumenwai Street. The memorial hall covers an area of more than 6,000 square meters, and is now the location of the tomb of shi kefa ancestral hall of the provincial cultural relics protection unit and the provincial patriotism education base. The Shi Kefa Memorial Hall is a famous historical site commemorating Shi Kefa, a national hero who resisted the Qing Dynasty at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
