Feeding for 20 minutes, burping for 15 minutes, coaxing and sleeping for another 20 minutes, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., this set of tasks has to be repeated every three or four hours, during which the child is also changed and the skin oil is applied... One day nearly two months after his daughter was born, Wei Qing, the technical manager of the operation team of Wukesong Stadium, experienced the hardships for the first time. "I don't think it's easy." He said, "Both parents are old, and it is good to be able to help cook, and they can't stand it at night, but in order to make me work better, my daughter-in-law takes the children herself at night." ”

Wei Qing is 36 years old this year, and in the days after his wife was born and the birth of his child, his energy was all poured into the "Meet in Beijing" series of test activities. Before the start of the event, the deployment of wired networks, wireless networks, fixed telephones, cluster networks, timing and scoring networks, radio monitoring points and other systems in the Wukesong Sports Center, the installation, commissioning, maintenance and maintenance of notebook computers, printers, copiers, televisions, eye-catching systems, projectors and other equipment, as well as the docking and landing of scientific and technological Winter Olympic projects such as "cloud broadcasting", "bullet time" and "free perspective", these are his business scope. And as the event approached, his workload continued to increase. During that time, he had endless phone calls in his hands, and his feet could not stop at all, and he walked more than fifteen thousand steps a day. During the test activities, he wore a cluster walkie-talkie and a POC walkie-talkie on both ears every day, and he also held a mobile phone in his hand to coordinate and handle the service work in 7 aspects such as network operation, information system technical support, and timing and scoring at any time.

Docking so many fields at once, this is still quite different from the profession that Wei Qing was originally familiar with. In 2018, when he learned that the unit and the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee were jointly recruiting and selecting personnel to serve the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, he immediately signed up. "In 2008, I served the Beijing Olympic Games as a corporate volunteer, and that memory made me very yearning, and when I learned about this news, that memory was also awakened in my mind." He successfully passed the selection, but the communications business, which had been familiar with the road for many years, could only account for one-sixth of the new positions. "After working for the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, I learned a lot of new things, and in order to be able to keep up with the work, I had to continue to learn, even now. This is to have a better connection with other businesses of the venue operation team. Only by understanding the needs of the other party can we arrange professional engineers to achieve them. ”

In addition to dealing with large and small electronic equipment in the venue and maintaining normal operation, Wei Qing and other core backbones of the technical team also have a lot of work to communicate with people. This includes a number of high-tech projects in the "Meet in Beijing" series of test activities, which landed in Wukesongguan. "Cloud broadcasting", "remote press conference hall", "unmanned mixed interview", "intelligent robot", "intelligent thermometer", "bullet time" and "free perspective", in order to ensure the landing of these high-tech Winter Olympic projects in the venue in a short period of time, the pressure borne by the venue technical team can be imagined. "Time is tight and the task is heavy. The successful completion is mainly due to the support of the leaders of the stadium team, as well as the strong assistance given to us by the Technical Department of the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Haidian Science and Information Bureau. Wei Qing said, "To this end, we organized four matchmaking meetings, let high-tech enterprises introduce their own science and technology projects to us, and then after the meeting discussion, determine which projects have a high degree of compatibility with the Winter Olympics test activities, and select the science and technology projects that can help us better hold competitions." After that, the managers of each professional field and the supplier jointly come up with a feasible project implementation plan for the test activity and report it to the venue team leader for decision-making. After the decision is passed, we will finally organize the relevant business areas to assist the suppliers in the project landing. ”

Although the high-tech landing can be introduced in just a few words, before the test activity, Wei Qing and the management colleagues of the technical team have not rested for almost a month, coupled with the high-intensity work of "7 am in the morning and 9 pm" during the game, their bodies are a bit overwhelmed. One day, Wei Qing was accompanying the leaders of the venue on an inspection, and WeChat suddenly received a photo. In the photo, Zheng Yan, deputy technical manager, is receiving emergency treatment from 999. "I was asking, 'Is this a drill in conjunction with the medical business?' The answer was ' This is not a drill!' Wei Qing immediately rushed back to the office, and his colleague Zheng Yan contacted the medical manager because of the pain in his heart area, and then immediately received emergency assistance from the medical team of the venue." Later, it was diagnosed because of the high intensity of that period of work. "Even so, Zheng Yan still left his job at 9 o'clock that night, and when others advised him to rest, he insisted on not leaving." I can understand him very well, and I think I will do the same for me. Wei Qing said, "Because I have worked so hard for so long, as long as I can persist, I will definitely stick to it and do technical support." ”

After the "Meet in Beijing" series of test activities, Wei Qing took a four-day break, and he was finally able to take care of his children, and he had the time and opportunity to help his wife and fulfill his responsibilities as a father. "Leave it alone, I'll come!" That's easy to say, but it's not easy to do. Recalling his wife's silent efforts during those days, Wei Qing's eyes were a little moist, "When I am not busy in the back, I must help every day, and I can't play her like this anymore." ”
