"Tieling Revolution Heroic Martyr Shi Pu" is the youngest party member who died during the Great Revolution

Flipping through the history of Tieling public security, in a trance, you can always see some heroes firmly strolling forward, dancing the magnificence of life, and using bright red blood to freeze into a magnificent landscape.

Shi Pu (1913-1930), a national pillar, was a member of the Communist Party of China. Born on March 24, 1913 in Xiaolingzi West, Tieling City, he went to Tieling County No. 1 Senior Primary School in 1920, was admitted to the junior high school of Fengtian Provincial No. 3 Middle School in 1926, completed junior high school in only one and a half years, and was admitted to the affiliated high school of Northeastern University in September 1927 with excellent results.

Because of Shi Pu's intelligent qualifications and the youngest age in the class, he was deeply loved by teachers and classmates, and everyone affectionately called him "brother" and "prodigy".

During his studies in Fengtian, Shi Pu carefully studied the works of Lu Xun, Mao Dun, Chen Duxiu, Qu Qiubai and others, and quickly accepted the new ideas of the proletariat and the new revolutionary theory. At the end of 1928, after the "Yizhi" in the northeast, he transferred to Nanjing to study, and was admitted to the Department of Physics of Jinling University in September 1929. During his time at school, he read Marxist-Leninist works such as The Communist Manifesto and The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State, which gradually transformed him from a spontaneous young student with patriotic ideas into a strong fighter for the cause of the proletariat.

In early 1930, Shi Pu joined the Communist Party of China. After he joined the party, he worked day and night for the revolution, often going to the streets and alleys in the dead of night to post revolutionary slogans and distribute leaflets. At the same time, he also secretly went to the Central University, Xiaozhuang Normal School and other schools to contact, and when he returned late at night, the school gate was closed, and he had to climb over the wall to enter.

In June 1930, the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee passed the resolution "A New Revolutionary Upsurge and the First Victory of a Province or Provinces", planning to hold a general strike and a general uprising in Shanghai, Ningbo and other cities to achieve the first victory of one province and several provinces. The Nanjing Party organization demanded that the party members in the university prepare to participate in the riot, and Shi Pu threw himself wholeheartedly into the preparations for the Nanjing uprising organized by the party. The Nanjing riots are scheduled to take place on August 1, and a citywide demonstration on July 16 serves as a signal for the riots. However, the demonstrations exposed the strength of the party and were frantically suppressed by the enemy, and Shi Pu also attracted the attention of the Kuomintang authorities. Two days before the August 1st riots, the riot command organ was discovered by the enemy, the head of the Party in Nanjing was arrested, and the riot was forced to be held at the end of August. Shi Pu was responsible for the organization and mobilization of the liaison area in the north area. On August 25, Shi Pu was arrested for betrayal by traitors.

Shi Pu was imprisoned in the detention center of the Nanjing Garrison Headquarters, and in the face of the enemy's threats and inducements, he was awe-inspiring and fearless, and refuted the enemy's dumb words. The enemy had no choice but to hang him with an iron bar through his palm and beat him severely. The scaly Shi Pu bit his blood-soaked lips and did not spit out a word about the party's secrets, without the slightest wavering or submission. The enemy faced this communist who was only 17 years old, and had no choice but to say in a yin and yang manner: "You have joined the Communist Party at such a young age, which is really poisoned too deeply, do you know that in China there are only three people's principles?" Shi Pu looked at each other angrily and said, "If you are not old, you have already betrayed Mr. Zhongshan's Three People's Principles, and I am the one who has revolutionized the lives of you Mr. Zhongshan traitors." ”

The angry enemy changed Shi Pu's age from 17 to 19 and sentenced him to death. On September 4, 1930, Shi Pu shouted slogans such as "Long live the Communist Party of China" and "Down with the Kuomintang reactionaries" all the way, and his blood stained the rain and flowers, and he was only 17 years old.
