In the history of the Mongol Empire, genghis Khan, Tuolei, Möngke, and Kublai Khan, the three most powerful killing gods, have appeared successively. If these people are compared, who has laid the most territory?
Let's interpret them one by one, and you may understand.

(Map of Mongolia)
Genghis Khan did these things in the expansion of the territory: First, he unified the Mongolian mainland, that is, the entire northern desert region. Originally, Mongolia was a fragmented place and was often bullied by jin and others. Genghis Khan rose up and took the mongol power as a whole, so that they really had the strength to compete with other peoples.
The second is to chase the forest tribes north. To the north of Mongolia were vast areas such as Siberia, where at that time were uninhabited, with only a few people known as forest tribes wandering around. Genghis Khan sent his eldest son, Shuchi, to pursue them. After the pursuit, in fact, those places can also be regarded as Mongolian territory. But the Mongols didn't take care of it much, so it's not certain whether it was pioneered by Genghis Khan or not. We often see that there is no border north of Mongolia, and this is the truth.
(Genghis Khan's Western Expedition)
The third was Genghis Khan's western expedition, taking the Western Liao and Huarazimo, as well as some surrounding areas. The Western Liao were purely affected, and they did not offend the Mongols, but because they were located between the Mongols and Khwarazm, they had to be destroyed.
Fourth, Genghis Khan invaded the Jin Kingdom in the south, took the capital of the Jin Kingdom, and forced the Jin State to move its capital. In this way, almost half of the Golden Kingdom was occupied.
Fifth, Genghis Khan almost destroyed the Western Xia. The reason why it is almost the same is that in the last month of the destruction of Western Xia, Genghis Khan died. Therefore, it is not a complete annihilation of western Xia.
Tore served as a leader in Mongolia. In the first two years after Genghis Khan's death, Mongolia was overseen by a tow. But in the past two years, Tuolei has not done anything to open up the territory. All of Tuolei's territorial expansion was completed under the leadership of Genghis Khan and Wokoutai.
(Attack on Khwarazm)
In Genghis Khan's Western Expedition and southern expedition to fight the Jin Dynasty and Western Xia, Tuolei was the most effective cadre and the most ferocious killer. It can be said that half of the territory laid by Genghis Khan is the credit of Tuolei. Especially in the fight against Hua Lazimo and Western Xia, without tuolei, Genghis Khan would not have played so smoothly.
After Wo Kuo came to power, he launched the final war against the Jin Dynasty. In the end, the greatest credit for being able to destroy the Golden Kingdom was to drag thunder. It was Tuolei who lent the Southern Song Dynasty a way, passed through Sichuan, detoured to copy the back road of the Jin Kingdom, and defeated the main force of the Jin State in the Battle of Sanfeng Mountain, and finally the Jin State fell into the hands of the Mongols.
After Möngke came to power, he launched the Western Expedition and the Southern Expedition. The Western Expedition was completed by his third brother Hulagu. Hulagu gained access to all of Western Asia except the Arabian Peninsula. The Southern Expedition was directed against the Southern Song Dynasty. Meng Ge conquered a lot of land in the Southern Song Dynasty, but with his death in Sichuan, the Mongols withdrew, and the land obtained by the Southern Song Dynasty was taken back by the Song people. In other words, if you only talk about Mungo personally beating it, there are not many. If you talk about what he fought when he was a great Khan, there were many of them.
(Kublai Khan Jianyuan Dadu)
After Kublai Khan came to power, his main merit was to launch a war against the Southern Song Dynasty, and finally destroyed the entire Southern Song Dynasty, occupying all the territory of the Southern Song Dynasty.
In this way, if you count the newly opened land when he was a king, only Genghis Khan has opened up the most. If you count the land laid by personal ability, it should be the most mines. If you count the largest land area you had during your reign, it should be counted as Möngke (the reason why it was not Kublai Khan is because during Kublai Khan's time, the Mongol Empire had actually split into the Yuan Empire and the Four Khanates).
