What does this mean? We all know that Liu Bang slashed the snake and rebelled, laying the foundation for the four hundred years of the Han Dynasty. Nowadays, the world of the Great Han dynasty is about to be chaotic, and there is no "snake" to join in the fun, which is called "the general trend of the world, and it will be united for a long time, and it will be divided for a long time."
When Qin and Han were fighting, Ku Tong proposed: Liu Bang, Xiang Yu and Han Xin, your proposal of "dividing the world into three parts", Han Xin did not agree. Thus was liu Bang's final unification of the Han Dynasty. Four hundred years have passed, and now that the Great Han is about to be destroyed, it has really opened the "three-point mode". History is so magical, and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is nothing more than adding some spices.
Guan Yu, in the main history, Isu was the first general of the Three Kingdoms, and even if he didn't like Guan Yu anymore, there was no way to deny it. After all, for a long time since the Three Kingdoms, a nomination will say "Guan Yu and Zhang Fei". That is to say, they have "touched porcelain" these two brothers. A title of ten thousand enemies can brighten the eyes of the younger generation.
Therefore, the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is also particularly fond of Guan Yu, and it is clear that the main line of the first half of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" should be the struggle between Cao Cao and Liu Bei, but it is expected that Guan Yu has taken away the glory. But before becoming a god, Guan Yu also did two things, one of which was to possess Lü Meng and take Lü Meng's life. The second is to go to Xichuan to inform Liu Bei and avenge me! Therefore, Guan Yu's becoming a god belonged to a premeditated plan, and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms directly rushed to this aspect and made all kinds of preparations.
Compared with Guan Yu, his third brother Zhang Fei was much inferior. Looking through the whole book, there is no sign of this, but when Liu Bei's soldiers defeated Yiling, before dying, they saw Zhang Fei and Guan Yu coming, and Guan Yu and Liu Bei exchanged views.

This is the treatment, Zhang Fei can only accompany Guan Yu after death, and there is not a single line. But no matter what, through Guan Yu's mouth, it can be seen that after Zhang Fei died, he was also canonized! It's just that he's not as high-profile as Guan Yu and is widely known.
In Pu Songling's "Liaozhai Zhiyi", Zhang Fei also appeared, first as a city god for a period of time, and later promoted to "Yin and Yang Two Realms Grand Tour Envoy". So-called: Huanhou Yide, thirty years a tour of Yin Cao, thirty-five years a tour of Yang Shi, the two are uneven, wait for this old and disappear.
But what, Zhang Sanye can't compare with Guan Yu after all, let alone the status of martial saints, only Guan Yu's "Voldemort Emperor", this title, domineering or not domineering? Therefore, according to the logic of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhang Fei's ability to seal the gods after his death seems to be stained with Guan Yu's light.
So everyone knows that in Shu Han, in addition to Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, there is a famous general who is no less than two, who? Zhao Yun, of course!
In "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Zhao Yun's style is even more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people than Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. For example, the Battle of Nagasaka Slope. In the main history, Zhang Fei is the protagonist: according to the water broken bridge! But in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it became Zhao Yun.
Guan Yu looks at anyone, like an insert to sell the head, can be a cattle to the explosion, but in terms of record, it is inferior to Zhao Yun. But the question is, why did Zhao Yun, who existed like a god in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, not be able to be a god after his death like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei? In my opinion, there are two reasons!
One: role needs
Since it is the content of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it must follow the logic of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. As in the case of Liu Guanzhang's worship, this shaping is in the intention, in order to highlight Liu Bei. Who made Liu Bei in the beginning, unable to compare with Cao Cao?
That is to say, Liu Bei and Cao Cao's status and strength are not equal, and the difference is too great! As a result, they were all pinched in Cao Cao's hands, if it were not for Cao Cao's consideration of killing Liu Bei, the impact was not good, where would Liu Bei still have drama to sing later?
Therefore, Zhao Yun became Liu Bei's "mascot", mainly used to strengthen Liu Bei's legitimacy and strength.
This role positioning makes Zhao Yun automatically upgrade to "god". ChangsakaPo saved Ah Dou, obviously Zhao Yun fell into the horse pit, but after a red light, he actually came out again. It is said to be "Adou Protective Body", but who protects whom? Otherwise, what would Liu Bei do if he threw the child!
There is also Zhao Yun's most terrifying battle, in order to save Liu Bei, who was chased and slashed, he singled out Xu Chu, Zhang Gao, Yu Ban, and also killed Gao Lan, all because of the needs of the "role", and reshaped it!
Even, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, although Zhao Yun is like Liu Bei's mascot, he is also the "protective god" of Liu Bei (Shu Han)! Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are both independent characters, and naturally after they die, it is easier to have room for operation. Zhao Yun was already "full" before his death - the so-called perfect general Zhao Zilong, what else is there to regret?
Second: Zhuge Liang needs it even more
Shu Han had three scoop masters: one Liu Bei, two Zhuge Liang, and three Liu Chan! Didn't this run?
Zhuge Liang is the most special, as a human subject, he took on the heavy responsibility of "scoop handle". When Liu Bei was alive, the Five Tigers general was a minion and Zhuge Liang was the mastermind. But what about when Zhuge Liang was in power? It is former Zhao Yun, post Jiang Wei!
That is to say, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" cannot let Zhuge Liang sing a monologue, and he must be assigned a deputy. Therefore, Zhao Yun was selected again, so that Zhuge Liang could smoothly transition to Jiang Wei. The fact is also like this, after getting Jiang Wei, when Zhuge Liang was preparing to go out of Qishan for the second time, he had not yet raised an army, and he got the news that Zhao Yun had died.
So-called: Zhao Yun does not go, Jiang Wei is difficult to get out! Zhuge Liang actually loves Zhao Yun the most, he can't help it, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei often play with him, so that Zhuge Liang has something, he must point out Zhao Yun! And Zhao Yun, too, has never been righteous. This is really: Zhao Yun is a brick, where it needs to be moved.
So did Zhuge Liang seal the gods? No, it is not that it cannot be, but that people do not agree, and zhuge liang must be left in the human world, which is the most simple and sincere emotion of people. Since Zhao Yun is Zhuge Liang's favorite, naturally like Zhuge Liang, he can't become a god, isn't it better to stay in the human world?
To this end, the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" also paved the way, which is what happened before Zhao Yun died: a sudden strong wind rose from the northeast corner and blew the pine tree in front of the court. Zhuge Liang then received the reward and Zhao Yun died.
This somewhat mysterious description proves once again that Zhao Yun is both the protector of Liu Bei (Shu Han) and the general that Zhuge Liang needs most—so-called: the top beam and pillar are broken.
Since then, whether it is Shu Han or Zhuge Liang, they have all entered a sad atmosphere of being difficult to support. Under this tone of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Zhao Yun could not be canonized after death.
