According to reports, October 16 marks the 57th anniversary of the successful explosion of China's first atomic bomb. On October 16, 1964, the first atomic bomb of China's self-manufacturing was successfully exploded in Lop Nur in Xinjiang. Located in Zitong County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, the former site of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, China's "Two Bombs City" was once the headquarters of China's second nuclear weapons development base, and it is also an important birthplace and bearing place of the spirit of "two bombs and one satellite".
On November 5 last year, the first Forum on the Spirit of Scientists was successfully held.
