On October 22, a reporter from The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) learned from the Shanghai Qingpu District People's Procuratorate (hereinafter referred to as the "Qingpu District Procuratorate") that the court recently prosecuted Yan Feng for intentional injury.
According to the Qingpu District Procuratorate, Yan Chunlai and Yan Feng's father and son lived in Qingpu, Yan Chunlai began to be a fisherman when he was young, and Yan Feng also joined this line when he grew up. In recent years, relevant departments have encouraged fishermen to come ashore, and Yan Chunlai's father and son are also in the procession of relocation. In January 2021, the relevant departments informed Yan Chunlai's father and son that at the end of the month, a large amount of resettlement fees would be paid to their families, and both of them were very happy.
Crime knives
In the face of such a windfall, father and son each made a small calculation. It turned out that Yan Chunlai divorced and remarried when he was young, and Yan Feng and his sister were born to him and his ex-wife. Yan Feng naturally thought that his father would allocate this resettlement fee to him and his sister, but he did not expect that an acquaintance in the village quietly told him: "Your father has said to many people that this money will not be given to your brothers and sisters, but will give it all to his current wife." Yan Feng was furious after hearing this, he had a bad relationship with his stepmother for many years, so he found his father to argue about the theory, and the two had some unpleasantness and did not negotiate a distribution plan.
At noon on January 19, Yan Feng was sullen and unhappy, drank three or two liquors alone, and drank half a kilogram of liquor in his room at 9 p.m., and then went to bed. At 11 p.m., the father of the next room rushed into his room to theorize with him about the distribution of the placement fee. Yan Feng was drunk, thinking that this resettlement fee was about to be paid, and he quarreled with Yan Chunlai loudly in the room.
The two verbally attacked, and Yan Chunlai pushed a fruit knife at the head of Yan Feng's bed towards his son in a fit of rage, saying, "Your wings are hard, and you have the ability to stab me to death." Yan Feng sat on the edge of the bed wearing socks, and sneered at his father: "I have no right to beat you." But after putting on his shoes and socks, he picked up the knife and pointed it at his father.
Taking advantage of Yan Chun's momentary wandering, Yan Feng slashed the left side of his father's neck with a knife, he thought that if he properly grasped the weight, there would be some blood, but it would not be a big problem.
But in fact, Yan Feng drank a lot of alcohol that day, he couldn't grasp the power in his hands at all, and when he went down, Yan Chunlai's neck gushed out blood, Yan Chunlai hurriedly covered his neck with his hands, panicked and ran out of the room, and the blood spurted out and spilled on Yan Feng's body.
Yan Feng was drunk and his eyes were blurred, and when he saw his father running out of the room, he thought that his deterrence had played a role, so he threw down the knife in his hand and fell asleep on the bed again.
After Yan Chunlai ran back to his room, he lost strength, used a weak voice to let his current wife call the police and call the ambulance, and then collapsed on the bed unconscious, before the 120 ambulance arrived, he had lost too much blood and died of shock.
After review, Yan Feng deliberately injured the body of others, resulting in the death of one person, but he and Yan Chunlai were father and son, usually there was no deep hatred, there was no obvious motive for killing, and on the night of the crime, he belonged to a moment of anger, the modus operandi only drew a knife and did not repair the knife, and then continued to sleep, did not think that it would cause Yan Chunlai to die, it can be determined that Yan Feng was intentionally injured, not intentionally killed.
