In 755, after the anshi rebellion began and the capital chang fell, the great poet Du Fu lived a life of displacement. In 759, Shi Siming was proclaimed the King of the Great Saint Zhou in Fanyang, and the 48-year-old Du Fu was forced by his life to travel back and forth between Shaanxi, Sichuan, and Gansu. When passing through Qingyang Gorge from Guanzhongxi in Shaanxi province to Qinzhou and Tonggu (in present-day Longnankang County, Gansu), I saw the beautiful scenery here, thought of my own bumpy life, and inscribed a five-word long law "Qingyang Gorge", a poem:

There are two legends about the origin of the name Seibudang. First, when Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of Tang Dynasty went to "Wushan" (located in Xinjie Town, Chencang District, Baoji City) to worship the heavens and seal Zen, he saw that there was a mountain in the northwest direction that was tall and handsome, very imposing of Wudang Mountain, so he asked his entourage what the name of this mountain was, and the entourage looked at each other and could not answer. Emperor Taizong pondered for a long time and blurted out: This mountain has the momentum of Wudang Mountain, let's call it Xiwudang. Since then, "Seibudang" has an official name and has been used to this day.

To Shaanxi Longxian Badu Town Xiwudang Scenic Area Route: From Baoji City, go north along The 212 Provincial Highway, to Chencang District Gong Town into Dongxian Road, after driving 40 kilometers, you can reach the Xiwudang Scenic Area. Or from Baoji City, go north along the 212 Provincial Highway, through the Qianyangling Tunnel, through Qianyang County into Longxian County, after reaching Dongfeng Town, Longxian County, turn left, drive from Dongfeng Town Qianhe Bridge into Dongxian Road, and drive 13 kilometers to reach. Or get off the highway from the Baohan Expressway Shuigou Toll Station, travel west along the Baoji-Longxian South Line Highway, drive to Xigou Village, Dongfeng Town, Longxian County, turn into Dongxian Road, and travel west for about 10 kilometers to reach the destination.
