Liu Hulan is only 15 years old, but she has left a lot of heroic deeds. She was born into poverty from an early age. As early as the period of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, 10-year-old Liu Hulan actively participated in the village's anti-Japanese children's regiment, standing guard, guarding and passing on intelligence for the Eighth Route Army. As a result of her outstanding performance, she became a regional women official at the age of 14 and was recruited by the Chinese Communist Party as a reserve party member.
In order to meet the needs of the revolution, Liu Hulan of the party returned to Yunzhou Xicun to lead the work. At the same time, Liu Hulan cooperated with armed workers to execute the local bully Shi Peihuai, winning the praise of the people and angering the reactionaries. In retaliation, the reactionaries led an army to attack the West Village of Yunzhou. His superiors ordered Liu Hulan to be transferred, but in order to help more people and party members transfer, Liu Hulan took the initiative to stay and persisted in the struggle. Unfortunately, it was then that someone defected and Liu Hulan was arrested for being a traitor's informant.
After the reactionaries captured Liu Hulan, they carried out various coercions and inducements, but all failed. In the end, the reactionaries took Liu Hulan to a helicopter and killed six revolutionary masses who were arrested at the same time in front of her. But what the enemy did not expect was that Liu Hulan was very calm and shouted angrily: "How can I die?" After the reactionaries said "the same thing," Liu Hulan righteously said, "Fear of death is not a communist," and he came to the guillotine and lay fearlessly under the guillotine.
In this way, 15-year-old Liu Hulan ended his short and brilliant life.
In the spring of 1947, after listening to Liu Hulan's deeds, Chairman Mao was moved to write down the eight words of "the greatness of life and the glory of death" and highly praised the young hero Liu Hulan.
