In this training, there was a man named Wang Liancheng, who was already a prisoner who had been sentenced to death, but had not yet been executed, and it was not two days before the execution, he still wanted to continue to live, thought of confessing his crimes, and still had the opportunity to be lenient.
When the leaders of the Wanquan County Public Security Bureau heard that there was still such a situation, they immediately met Wang Liancheng, who confessed Zhang Quanbao's information in 1510.
It turned out that Wang Liancheng was forcibly captured by Yan Xishan's troops in his early years and became a soldier, and when Taiyuan was liberated, Wang Liancheng was captured by our army with his troops, and after the teaching of our army, Wang Liancheng was released and returned to his hometown of Wanquan County. In 1950, in his spare time, in order to be able to earn more money, Wang Liancheng went to the city to prepare to find some physical work and earn money, but when he was walking on the road, he stumbled upon a grocery stall owner, this grocery stall owner was his boss Zhang Quanbao, Zhang Quanbao was also surprised after being discovered, he immediately threatened Wang Liancheng to tell him not to say it, otherwise he would seek revenge on his family. Wang Liancheng was afraid of Zhang Quanbao and did not expose him.
Wang Liancheng was subsequently exempted from the death penalty for reporting meritorious service, and after investigation, it was found that he had been wrongly arrested and released without guilt.
Anonymity attempts to evade punishment
Zhang Quanbao was able to survive in anonymity, relying on his disguise and people's understanding, influenced by literary works, everyone knows that Liu Hulan was killed by a bearded man, so Zhang Quanbao pulled off all his beard, concealed his true identity, changed his name to Zhang Shenghao, so after the liberation of Taiyuan, he pretended to be a platoon leader, disguised himself, escaped censorship, and after a period of labor reform, our army released him back to his home. Zhang Quanbao returned home and made a living by selling some daily necessities in Yuncheng.
Zhang Quanbao's ancestral home is Shandong, when he was young, Zhang Quanbao was full of beards, so people know that he has a "big beard", at the age of 36, Zhang Quanbao went to Yan Xishan as a soldier, and successively served as a platoon leader, adjutant and other positions. By 1946, Zhang Quanbao was already the instructor of the heavy machine gun company of the first battalion of the 215th Regiment of the 61st Army, and the next year he and Hou Yuyin, deputy battalion commander of the first battalion, Xu Desheng, commander of the 2nd Company, and others led the troops to surround Yunzhouxi Village, captured Liu Hulan and seven others, and forced the villagers to go to the Damiao Square for a meeting, the whole crowd begged Zhang Quanbao to forgive Liu Hulan and others, but Zhang Quanbao listed the "crimes" of Liu Hulan and others, and asked them to "confess", after the end of the War of Resistance, Yan Xishan in order to maintain his rule in Shanxi. In 1951, when governments at all levels liquidated counter-revolutionaries, Zhang Quanbao was so frightened that on the one hand he asked his daughter-in-law to release the wind that he had returned to his hometown, and on the other hand, he transformed his vegetable cellar, hid here, and loaded his privately stored firearms with bullets, and if caught, he would fight back.
After Wang Liancheng confessed, he attracted the attention of the director of the county public security bureau, he immediately made a report to the superiors, organized a quick dispatch to investigate zhang Quanbao's neighborhood, but did not find any trace of Zhang Quanbao, in communication with Zhang Quanbao's neighbors, learned that she followed Zhang Quanbao's wife into the house, although there was no one in the house, but there was a strong smell of smoke, so the public security police learned that Zhang Quanbao must still be at home.
Considering that Zhang Quanbao had been a soldier, if he was armed, forcible arrest could cause casualties. In order to reduce casualties, the public security personnel waited patiently, relied on the night to launch a surprise attack, captured Zhang Quanbao, who had just come out of the vegetable cellar to eat, and also found a bulleted gun in the quilt. After repeated interrogations by the Wanquan County public security organs, Zhang Quanbao finally confessed the fact that the martyr Liu Hulan was killed.

During the public trial meeting, after Liu Hulan and the families of several other martyrs accused the murderer of the crime, the congress sentenced Zhang Quanbao to death and immediately executed him. In 1957, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the sacrifice of the martyr Liu Hulan, a new cemetery was built in the local area to commemorate the martyr Liu Hulan, who was still not afraid of danger in the face of the coercion of the enemy, and composed a tragic revolutionary song with his life.
