On January 18, the 2020 "Ma John Cup" Youth Football Invitational Tournament ended in Gulangyu Island, Xiamen, and Changchun Yatai u11 Yellow Team defeated Tsinghua Fuxiao 3-2 to finish 5th. In addition, in the "Lukes Cup" in Guangxi Beihai, Changchun Yatai u11 Red Team defeated Beijing Tianzhi Proud Son 7-0, temporarily ranking second in the group with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss.
The 2020 "Ma John Cup" Youth Football Invitational Tournament is the first event of the new season for Changchun Yatai U11 Yellow Team to participate in, and the competition is played at the Ma John Stadium of the Centennial Stadium in Gulangyu Island. In the group stage, Changchun Yatai u11 Yellow Team lost 0-1 to Ordos team, 5-2 against Kangle Second Squad, and advanced to the quarterfinals with the second place in the group.
In qualifying, Changchun Yatai u11 yellow team lost 2-4 to Luneng Football School and missed the final four. Subsequently, Yatai juniors defeated Taiwan Taoyuan Tong'an 5-1 and Tsinghua Affiliated Primary School 3-2, and finally won the 5th place in this competition.
On January 19, changchun Yatai u11 yellow team will rush to the North Sea to start winter training preparations.
