CCTV news: On the afternoon of November 3, a 4-year-old boy in Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, Chongqing City, was reading alone at home when the electrical appliances on the coffee table in the living room suddenly caught fire, and within a few minutes after the fire, the 4-year-old boy successfully controlled and extinguished the fire through a series of "textbook" operations.

After receiving the alarm, the fire commander quickly arrived at the scene, at which time the fire was successfully extinguished with the help of the child's grandfather.
Through the monitoring at the time of the incident, at about 17:39, Zhang Qinjie, a 4-year-old boy, was reading alone at home, when the electrical appliances on the coffee table suddenly caught fire, and a puff of smoke rose after a burst of fire. But instead of getting scared, he ran out and called his mother and told him that the house was on fire. Immediately, he ran home and unplugged the electrical outlet. Since there was no adult at home, a few minutes later the little boy received a small bucket of water from the toilet and poured it toward the fire, although he fell a few times on the way and poured the water on the ground, but he did not give up, got up and went to the kitchen to collect water to continue to extinguish the fire.
According to reports, the parents of the little boy Zhang Qinjie went out to deliver goods that day, and he was the only one at home. When encountering a sudden fire in an electrical appliance, although he was a little panicked, he could still calmly unplug the power outlet, call the police, explain the home address and fire to the firefighter uncle, and take measures to extinguish the fire. Due to the timely disposal, the fire did not spread.
