On July 18th, the 12th China Dairy Industry Conference & 2021 China Dairy Exhibition and 2021 China Dairy Top 20 (d20) Summit were held in Hefei, Anhui Province. At the D20 Summit, the China Dairy Association released the "China Dairy D20 Standard Raw Milk" standard drafted by Junlebao and other D20 enterprises, which will provide strong support and solid guarantee for improving the quality of raw milk in China, rebuilding consumer confidence, and promoting the high-quality development of China's dairy industry.

According to the "China Dairy Quality Report (2021)" released at the meeting, China's milk production was 35.3 million tons, an increase of 7% year-on-year, of which milk production was 34.4 million tons, an increase of 7.5% year-on-year. The pass rate of fresh milk sampling was 99.8%, unchanged year-on-year. Previous data showed that the per capita consumption of dairy products in 2020 increased by 20.4% compared with 2015.

In order to show the first-class quality and safety level of China's raw milk to the whole society, enhance production and consumption confidence, and promote the healthy development of the dairy industry, the China Dairy Association and China Agricultural University led the establishment of an expert group to organize industry experts, Junlebao and other d20 enterprises to contribute common wisdom and draft the "China Dairy D20 Standard Raw Milk" standard. The standard re-calibrates the milk protein content, milk fat content, total colony number and somatic cell number by investigating the current standard status and the current status of domestic fresh milk production and quality, and on the principle of coordination and unification with the current national standard, combined with the actual production situation, the standard is better than the current national standard gb 19301-2010. The formulation of the new standard is advanced and forward-looking, which will ensure the high quality of dairy products from the source and guide the healthy development of the industry.

According to reports, in recent years, Junlebao has made great efforts to improve the quality of fresh milk. Through the research and development and innovation of the whole industry chain, two major models have been created: one is the whole industry chain model, that is, to achieve the whole process of pasture planting, dairy farming, production and processing of self-owned, self-control, to ensure the safety and rest assured of milk powder; the second is to accelerate the construction of the "five world-class" model, that is, to use world-class level research and development, world-class advanced pasture, world-class leading factory, world-class suppliers and world-class food safety management system to ensure the high quality of milk powder.

Wei Lihua, chairman and president of Junlebao Dairy Group, said that firmly grasping all the key links of the industrial chain in his own hands can better ensure the safety and quality of raw milk. Junlebao laid out 380,000 mu of high-quality self-owned grassland in the grassland on the dam, cooperated with the China Agricultural Grassland Station, national grassland experts and relevant scientific research units to build a scientific and technological innovation platform to improve the quality of self-grown pastures; and built 17 modern large-scale pastures across the country, stocking 100,000 high-quality dairy cows, and the all-round nutritional protection of dairy cows has greatly improved the quality of Junlebao raw milk.

Junlebao invested 500 million yuan to build the Dairy Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute will be completed this year, the project set dairy technology research center, food safety quality testing center, product processing experience center, dairy training and reception center in one, from pasture planting, dairy cow genetics and embryo transfer, product process innovation to new product research and development, the whole industry chain research and development innovation.

At the summit site, ZhongYan, vice president of Junlebao, as a representative of the enterprise, spoke in the chapter of "Innovation-driven construction of a new development pattern". She said that in the future, Junlebao will continue to empower enterprise development and industry upgrading with the research and development innovation of the whole industry chain, actively integrate into the new pattern of dairy development, and contribute to the comprehensive revitalization of the domestic dairy industry.
