Kangxi's Book "Table of The Master of The Ten Thousand Worlds"

This special exhibition will exhibit for the first time the list of "Ten Thousand Masters" written by Kangxi in the twenty-third year (1684), Kangxi's southern tour to Qufu, and the book of "Master of Ten Thousand Worlds" written at the former residence of Confucius. This list book was mistakenly thought to have been burned in the flames of the "Cultural Revolution", but it was actually kept in a low profile by Kong Decheng, the seventy-seventh grandson of Confucius, and is now stored in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. This is also the original inkblot of the earliest and largest "WanshiShi Table" plaque in the Dacheng Hall of the Tainan Confucius Temple.

Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC), the name Qiu, was an important thinker and educator during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. For the first time in history, the record of a portrait of Confucius is actually 600 years after confucius's death. In addition, the reverence of Confucius by successive generations has also added a lot of legends and myths to the appearance of Confucius. It is no wonder that there are thousands of existing portraits of Confucius, which are clearly painted with the same person, but there are many different looks.
