Alex Bonilla, 51, pleaded guilty Thursday on charges of kidnapping, severe beatings with lethal weapons and serious assaults using deadly weapons in the victim's mobile home in July 2019, the smoking gun said.

Bonilla reportedly broke into the victim's home and threatened him with a pistol and a metal tube. He allegedly tied the man to his bedroom and said, "You're not going to die, but you'll remember it for the rest of your life."
The married father of 5 from El Salvador (Bonilla) pulled down the victim's shorts and said: "It's normal, you're not going to die today. Then he picked up a pair of scissors and began to cut the genitals of the victim, and blood splashed everywhere. Some US media said that he continued to threaten the man before leaving the victim's home with the cut organs. At the time of the incident, the victim's two daughters were still at home.
Doctors have been unable to reattach the victim's genitals through surgery, which has led to problems with urinating and living as a couple with his wife. If convicted, Bonilla faces 30 years in prison.
