Almost no one, his life has been smooth. Needless to say, the masses of the people living at the lowest level of society have their lives fluctuating even if they are emperors who are high above. This brings us to the early days of the founding of our party, which was only after several tribulations that we opened up new paths from dangerous situations again and again, and grew up little by little, and only then did we create our great new China.

For example, the Long March of the Red Army, which we are familiar with, is a period of arduous ordeal, and less than one-eighth of the soldiers who participated in the march together finally arrived in northern Shaanxi to complete the feats of the Long March. Those people either died heroically or were left behind and scattered. However, it is worth mentioning that if there is no correct decision of the Zunyi Conference and the chairman takes over the military command of the Red Army, it is unknown whether the Central Red Army can complete the Long March. Wang Jiaxiang was able to promote this meeting and the correct ideas in it. But today we are not talking about him, but Comrade Kaifeng, who "contradicted" the chairman at the meeting.

Kaifeng was born in 1906 in Pingxiang, Jiangxi, at this time his name was He Kequan. Compared with the surrounding neighbors, their family's family is still good, so Kaifeng is lucky, and he likes to learn to read, and he can continue to move forward with the support of his family.

At the age of 19, Kaifeng was admitted to Wuchang Higher Normal School. At this time, with the rise of the domestic revolutionary movement and the spread of the new cultural movement, Wuhan has become the forefront of Hubei Province's acceptance of new ideas and progressive culture, and schools have become the most concentrated and splendid places of thought.

During his studies, in addition to studying harder, Kaifeng is also constantly expanding his horizons and knowledge, and through reading a large number of progressive books and periodicals, his concept of life has also changed. In 1927, when our party's cause was at a low ebb, Kaifeng joined the Communist Youth League at this time and formally threw himself into the vigorous revolutionary cause.

The lesson of blood has made our Party realize that in carrying out revolutionary struggle against hostile forces, it is all the more necessary for a group of outstanding revolutionary talents. At that time, the party group selected some members with strong party spirit and high academic qualifications from among the young members of the league to arrange to study in Moscow, and fortunately Kaifeng became one of them, and this experience was of great help to his future development in our party.

During his study in the Soviet Union, Kaifeng met many outstanding party members from China, and after several years of getting along, they formed a deep friendship, and Kaifeng and Bogu became close friends who talked about everything.

In 1930, Kaifeng ended his three-year study abroad career and returned to his homeland. Their members who remained in the Soviet Union were all reused, and only a few months later Kaifeng served as an inspector of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and later transferred to Guangdong as the secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Although Kaifeng has a smooth career and a high position, it cannot be ignored that their working environment is very dangerous, and they may be arrested and imprisoned for exposing their identities in the white area. He was betrayed and imprisoned by traitors after four months in this position, fortunately rescued by the party organization, and three months later Kaifeng was rescued from prison. However, the encounter in prison during these three months is also unimaginable to ordinary people, and it was the original oath and revolutionary will that made Kaifeng persist.

In 1933, with the deterioration of the revolutionary environment in Shanghai, all the central organs were transferred to the Soviet District, and Kaifeng also came to the Central Soviet District. Previously, under the leadership of Chairman Zhu and others, the Central Red Army had already smashed three enemy "encirclement and suppression" attacks, and the fourth anti-"encirclement and suppression" operation was also in sight.

However, with the arrival of the Provisional Central Committee, the military command was transferred to Bogu, Li De and others, but unfortunately, because of the wrong military struggle line, the Central Red Army did not smash the fifth "encirclement and suppression", and the situation in the Soviet area was precarious, and finally it could only carry out military transfer and began the Long March.

It is worth mentioning that under the promotion of Bogu, Kaifeng's status in the party has risen, and he has been elected as a member of the Central Committee, an alternate member of the Politburo, an executive member, etc. It should be known that the founding hero Peng Lao was only an alternate member of the Central Committee at this time, and Kaifeng's status was higher than that of the marshal.

At the beginning of the Long March, the Central Red Army broke through several blockade lines, causing great casualties, especially in the Battle of the Xiangjiang River, when the original team of more than 80,000 people was now only more than 20,000 people, and the huge number of casualties made the morale of the officers and men of the whole army low. Against this background, the chairman proposed to abandon the original marching route and instead march to Guizhou, where the enemy's strength was weak, which was supported by Wang Jiaxiang, Zhang Wentian and others, and promoted the zunyi conference.

At the meeting, Bogu, the chairman and others all spoke, but there were different opinions, and the key moment was Wang Jiaxiang, despite his injured body, struggled to stand up and made a speech, expressing his full support for the chairman. It was precisely because of his crucial vote that the correct decision was finally made to take over by revoking the military command of Bogu and others.

Seeing that Bogu and others were severely criticized and their command was to be stripped away, there was one person who could not sit still, and this person was Kaifeng.

According to Nie Shuai's recollection, before the meeting, Kaifeng talked to him, hoping that Nie Shuai could support Bogu, but unfortunately it backfired. Later, seeing that his appeal was not passed, he was anxious to question and ridicule the chairman. Because of Kaifeng's lack of understanding of the mistakes in Bogu's military line, blindly supporting Bogu, and "contradicting" the chairman, Kaifeng was dismissed from his post as a representative of the central committee of the Red Ninth Army regiment after the meeting.

In the following months, under the leadership of the Chairman, the Central Red Army smoothly got rid of the predicament, got rid of the enemy's pursuit and interception, and finally broke away from the dangerous situation and saved the Central Red Army. The facts were in front of him, and Kaifeng realized his mistake at the beginning, and his attitude towards the chairman changed dramatically, and he even became a loyal supporter of the chairman.

At a conference, Kaifeng once said something like this:

"Comrades, I declare that I will withdraw my previous statements and views at the Zunyi Conference and will henceforth resolutely support Comrade Mao Zedong in leading our Red Army. Facts have proved that his propositions are correct, and whoever opposes Comrade Mao Zedong will oppose him."

Everyone is very satisfied that Kaifeng can quickly recognize his mistakes and change his attitude. In essence, Kaifeng was an excellent revolutionary who was loyal to the party and had outstanding ability, and since he had changed so much, the organization would not give up such a good comrade, and soon Afterwards Kaifeng resumed his original post and was elected acting minister of propaganda after arriving in northern Shaanxi.

It is worth mentioning that Kaifeng's literary talent is outstanding, and the lyrics of the inspiring Kang Da School Song were created by Kaifeng, and the chairman said after reading it at that time, "It is really well written, and it is completely in line with the school running policy of Kang Da".

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Kaifeng was basically responsible for our party's propaganda and carried out a lot of fruitful work. The famous Central Compilation Bureau was also organized by him, translating and compiling a large number of revolutionary works for our Party.

At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Kaifeng served as the secretary of the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and made great contributions to the economic recovery, construction and development of this important industrial town in Northeast China. However, the organization takes into account that Comrade Kaifeng is more suitable for propaganda, after all, he has been the propaganda minister for so many years and has richer work experience than anyone.

From 1952 onwards, Kaifeng served as deputy director of the Propaganda Department. At this time, Kaifeng had a new plan in mind, hoping to play his afterglow in the propaganda cause of the new era. However, decades of fighting severely damaged his body, and on March 23, 1955, Kaifeng died of illness at the age of 49.

Looking at Kaifeng's life, there may be slight flaws, not so perfect, but it cannot be denied that over the years, he has made contributions to the cause of the liberation of the party and the people, and the immature Marxist-Leninist revolutionary of that year has long become a revolutionary with outstanding merits, but unfortunately his early death has not made greater contributions to new China, which is our great loss.
