However, when Xu Xiake turned to the north of Jianzhi Ridge, his eyes were a different scenery. There are many trees growing on the rocks of the cliffs, and the leaves of different colors are intertwined like a colorful brocade. The other tree, coiled upside down on the rock, like a giant python.
Xu Xiake admired such a beautiful view, and walked fifty miles until he reached the bottom of the valley and saw a rushing spring. He walked along the spring water to Longyukou, and from here, the mountain became steeper and steeper. Xu Xiake asked the locals and learned that the mountain was called Longshan. Before the Ming Dynasty, Longshan used to be shoulder to shoulder with Hengshan, and Yuan Haowen, Zhang Dehui, and Li Zhi all visited this mountain, and there were still poems and songs, which Xu Xiake felt was really an unexpected gain.
However, with the passage of time, today's Longshan is more and more unable to be on par with Hengshan.
Xu Xiake walked ten miles to the east, and then to the northwest for ten miles, through a road where cars and horses kept coming and going, to the foot of Hengshan Mountain.
Xu Xiake walked straight into the mountain. I saw a small stream twisting and turning, flowing out of the two peaks towering over the cliff. Such a quiet and elegant scenery, Xu Xiake felt that even the Nine-Curved Creek in Wuyi Mountain could not be compared.
On the cliff wall, there are stone ridges, four or five feet wide and one foot high. Xu Xiake looked at it, it was abandoned for a long time, and only two stout pillars were left on a high place. He guessed that this was the way to build a boardwalk when the water rose.
Xu Xiake turned three times along the stream and saw a tower hanging on the cliff wall of the mountainside, like a mirage, and this hanging temple was incomparable to the north of Wutai Mountain.
This hanging temple near Hengshan Mountain was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,500 years. This temple on a cliff face, relying on a mortise structure, has withstood more than 1,500 years of wind and rain and is still available for visitors to climb and visit.
In that year, Xu Xiake gathered up enough courage to climb the Hanging Temple. He saw that the pavilions were staggered and the cloisters were winding and winding. He felt that only the Hanging Temple could build such a platform out of thin air. In the hanging temple, the place where tourists are received, the windows are bright and clean, the bedding on the bed is warm, and the square inches are both solemn and solemn, and elegant and comfortable.
Xu Xiake came down from the Hanging Temple and continued to walk in the canyon. He turned three or four times and came to the mouth of the canyon. Suddenly, there is no hole in the sky. Xu Xiake walked forward for a mile, and on the east side of the stream, he saw that above the hundreds of steps, there was a mountain gate with a triple plaque, that is, the mountain gate of the Hengshan Temple. Xu Xiake saw that the peaks were stacked on top of each other, and he couldn't see the top at a glance, so he found a family to live in, and prepared to climb the North Yue Heng Mountain the next day.
