The reporter of China News Network saw at a community bayonet in Aihui District, Heihe City, that the epidemic prevention staff with the armband of "young volunteers" on their arms was on duty outside the door. The busy figure of "volunteer red" is often seen in the streets and alleys of Heihe, providing strong support for the war epidemic.

At the press conference, Meng Fanjing, secretary of the Heihe City Committee of the Communist Youth League, said: "After the outbreak of the epidemic, the Heihe Youth League Municipal Committee and the Aihui Youth League District Committee launched the volunteer recruitment work for the first time on the evening of October 27, and recruited more than 100 volunteers that night. As of November 1, heihe city and aihui district two-level regiment organizations have recruited a total of 2819 young epidemic prevention volunteers, and 1154 volunteers have carried out volunteer services after epidemic prevention and control training, divided into five teams to devote themselves to epidemic prevention and control work. ”

At present, young volunteers mainly carry out five aspects of work. The first is to serve nucleic acid testing for the whole people. The team consists of 214 people, of which 77 serve the nucleic acid testing site, carry out maintenance of on-site queuing order, coordinate the supply of supplies from all parties, coordinate the transfer of sampling tubes, etc.; the other 137 people are divided into multiple teams and go to 175 nucleic acid testing points four times a day to provide temporary support.

The second is to assist in arranging isolated hotels and places for aid workers to live. 130 young volunteers have arranged the hotel rooms, and so far a total of 388 rooms and 453 beds have been arranged; the third is the prevention and control of big data services. 30 young people familiar with computer operation were selected to participate in big data maintenance and big data update; fourth, the community bayonet was on duty. A total of 490 volunteers were selected to participate in 16 duty communities and assist 42 insurance units to guard 64 community bayonets; fifth, service control community material procurement and garbage removal, this team has 290 people.

As of November 1, 2021, the city's volunteer team has provided a total of 2,634 volunteer services with a total of 22,730 hours. (End)
