Liao Zhongkai was later a close comrade-in-arms of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, a pioneer of China's democratic revolution, and a close friend of the Chinese Communist Party, when he was only nineteen years old, shortly after returning from the United States with his mother, and his uncle Liao Zhigang was the general office of the Qing government's China Merchants Bureau.
In 1896, Liao Zhongkai's uncle saw that he had reached the age of starting a family, so he asked to find him a daughter-in-law, but Liao Zhongkai could only agree, and made his only request, that is, the future wife must be a woman who had not been wrapped in feet. Seeing that her husband was so embarrassed, He Xiangning resolutely sold his dowry and the softness of his family, made up the cost of studying abroad, and went to Japan with Liao Zhongkai. In Japan, the talented He Xiangning received a new type of education different from traditional Chinese education, and a strong sense of distress and patriotic enthusiasm sprouted in his heart.
One night in the early autumn of 1903, He Xiangning and her husband went to the Kanda Chinese Students Association to participate in the rally, and it was at this assembly that they met Sun Yat-sen, who was giving a patriotic speech, the words were passionate, the sentences were indignant, these words were like a shocking bell, which made He Xiangning and his wife feel a lot.
Because there were too many people at the rally, they could not communicate with Dr. Sun Yat-sen alone, and after the rally, they asked about Dr. Sun Yat-sen's residence and came to visit. Several people talked happily, and it was from this point that He Xiangning and his wife decided to follow Sun Yat-sen and resolutely threw themselves into the democratic revolutionary movement.
In 1905, the Chinese League was established in Tokyo, Dr. Sun Yat-sen personally presided over the joining ceremony, He Xiangning became one of the earliest female members of the League, in September, Liao Zhongkai returned to Tokyo from Hong Kong with his one-year-old daughter, and joined the League through He Xiangning's introduction. Due to a long period of fatigue, He Xiangning suffered from a serious stomach disease, the medical conditions were not good at that time, her stomach disease did not improve for a long time, just at this time, Liao Zhongkai received an assignment from Dr. Sun Yat-sen, hoping that he could go to Tianjin to set up an organ and develop revolutionary forces, and Liao Zhongkai was once again caught in a dilemma.
He Xiang smiled slightly, relieved her husband, and said, "You don't have to care about me, saving the country is the most important thing." This deeply touched and comforted Liao Zhongkai, and before he left, He Xiangning wrote a seven-word poem to give to Liao Zhongkai. The content of the poem is as follows: The national vendetta is difficult to die before it is restored, and it is difficult to endure the ordinary crying; and the king is advised not to regret the head and leave it in the history of China.
With his wife's expectations and encouragement, Liao Zhongkai embarked on the bumpy road of the revolution, and on the eve of the Xinhai Revolution, He Xiangning and his children also returned to the motherland to assist Dr. Sun Yat-sen in leading the league and organizing an armed uprising against the Qing Dynasty.
With the concerted efforts of everyone, the Xinhai Revolution succeeded, the decadent Qing Dynasty ushered in the fate of collapse, the Provisional Government of the Republic of China was established in Nanjing, and Sun Yat-sen was inaugurated as the Provisional President of the Republic of China.

After her husband set off, He Xiangning was anxious in his heart, afraid of some accident, and within a few days, bad news really came, Chen Jiongming shelled the presidential palace, burned Guanyin Mountain, and made it clear that he wanted to betray.
Chen Xiangning put up with her husband's worries, risked her life to inquire about Dr. Sun Yat-sen's news, and after settling Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling, she went to Chen Jiongming's sphere of influence alone, even if she went deep into the tiger's den, she also wanted to save her husband.
After breaking through the barriers, He Xiangning saw Liao Zhongkai, who was chained to an iron bed, in a small building, and when he saw her husband being treated in this way, He Xiangning couldn't help but burst into tears, and she was angry from her heart, and the guards took her to see Chen Jiongming.
On that day, the torrential rain in the middle of summer poured down, and He Xiangning broke into Chen Jiongming's military conference venue in a wet suit, and the officers present were shocked, and Chen Jiongming's scalp was even more numb. He Xiang's face did not change color, his eyebrows were cold, and he scolded Chen Jiongming for his unkindness and injustice, and scolded him with a bloody head. Chen Jiongming was worried that things would be big, so he could only agree to He Xiangning's request to release people.
After that, Dr. Sun Yat-sen decided to cooperate with the Communist Party to reorganize the Kuomintang, and He Xiangning and his wife resolutely supported this idea of Sun Yat-sen and actively participated in the major events of the United Russia and the Communist Party. In 1925, an accident occurred, Dr. Sun Yat-sen died of illness, liao Zhongkai inherited the legacy of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and pursued the three major policies of the United Russia Federation to help workers and peasants, which led to the disaster of killing him.
On a sunny morning, Liao Zhongkai was shot on a step outside the Central Party Headquarters, just a few minutes before he and his wife got out of the car together, ready to get busy for the day. In 1932, when the 128 Incident broke out, He Xiangning organized the Shanghai women's circles to set up an aid team to support the War of Resistance, and at the same time asked Chiang Kai-shek to support the Nineteenth Route Army's War of Resistance.
