A Colombian court recently heard the case of Aida Victoria Merlano, a 21-year-old popular female model in the country's self-media, who was suspected of planning and assisting her mother in successfully escaping from prison. If found guilty, the beauty, who has more than 2.5 million followers, faces 21 years in prison.
Ada, a popular 21-year-old female model on social media Instagram, was reportedly accused of planning and assisting her 38-year-old mother, Aida Merlano Rebolledo, from Bogotá prison in October 2019.
At the time, Repolldo was a senator, but six months after winning the election, authorities discovered that she had hidden weapons, defrauded voters and other evidence of corruption, for which Repoledo was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Merano's 38-year-old mother, Repollerdo, was a former senator.
Just two weeks later, Repollerdo managed to escape from prison. Surveillance footage shows that while her daughter Merano was distracted from her dental clinic outside Repollado prison, repool took the opportunity to slide a rope from the second-floor window of the clinic, jump on the back seat of a man's bicycle, and flee the scene.
A month later, the naked Merano was on the cover of a magazine, handcuffed, with the headline: "Daughter of a fleeing congresswoman confesses guilt." ”
Colombian authorities did not capture Repolldo in Venezuela until January 2020.
Prosecutors suspected Merano and the dentist of being accomplices in Repoller's escape from prison and filed the case.
The two pleaded not guilty, but if found guilty, Merano faces 21 years in prison.
