A hundred years of the Communist Party of China
On November 14, 1949, on the eve of the liberation of China's southwest region, Jiang Zhujun, an underground member of the Communist Party of China, bravely took up his life at the Lanya Execution Ground of Chongqing Geleshan Radio, and was only 29 years old at the time of his death. Half a month after Sister Jiang's sacrifice, Chongqing was liberated.

The movie "Eternal Life in the Fire", released in 1965, vividly reproduced The heroism of Sister Jiang who regarded death as a homecoming. The film was originally named "Red Rock", premier Zhou Enlai saw it, suggested changing the name to "Sister Jiang", but Yu Lan, the actor of Sister Jiang, proposed that Sister Jiang was not the only protagonist in the film, so after discussion, Premier Zhou Enlai named the film "Eternal Life in the Fire" from a poem by General Ye Ting. The prototype of Sister Jiang in the movie is Jiang Zhujun, and Huang Maocai, who was a guard in Zhadidong Prison, was extremely impressed by Sister Jiang.

Sister Jiang joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 19, and in the spring of 1947, she went with her husband Peng Yongwu to organize an armed uprising in Xiachuandong, where Peng Yongwu was unfortunately killed during the riot, and his head was cut off and hung on the city gate to show the public. Sister Jiang endured grief and resolutely took over her husband's work, saying to the party organization: "The relationship between this line is only familiar to me, and I should continue to fight where Old Peng fell." At that time, their only son, Peng Yun, was just over a year old, and before leaving, Sister Jiang hugged her son and cried bitterly, and she asked her friends over and over again: Do you say that when he grows up in the future, will he remember the appearance of his parents and fathers?

Sister Jiang: I know the name of the superior, and I also know the name of the subordinate, which is a secret within our party and cannot be told to the enemy.
In June 1948, because of the traitor's whistle-blowing, Jiang Jie was arrested, and when she was arrested, she actually did not have many secrets within the party, but she told the enemy categorically that she knew all the secrets. It was Sister Jiang's move that spared more than twenty underground party members. The enemy, who did not have any secrets, became angry and used almost all the torture devices of the slag cave against Sister Jiang, and even stabbed her ten fingers with a bamboo stick over and over again, but Sister Jiang was always unyielding.
Enemy: Don't say? Don't say nail it again! Ten fingers are nailed!
Sister Jiang: After all, bamboo sticks are made of bamboo, and the will of Communist Party members is steel!

On October 1, 1949, the People's Republic of China was founded, and a bright five-star red flag was raised on the tower of Tiananmen Square. The revolutionary volunteers imprisoned in Chongqing were so excited that they took out a bed of red embroidered quilts and a few yellowed pieces of straw paper and made a five-star red flag together, looking forward to the day when Chongqing was liberated.

On August 27, 1949, Sister Jiang sent her last letter to her brother Zhu'an through the prison guard Huang Maocai, in which she wrote down her sincere instructions to her youngest son Peng Yun: Hope to teach in the footsteps of her parents, to build a new China, and to fight to the end for the cause of the communist revolution.
