Take a souvenir in front of the monument to commemorate an era that should be remembered.

Sister Jiang's secret agent who plotted rebellion in prison: Shouting injustice at the mouth of the execution gun, not only saving his life, but also succeeding in his later years

On this day, on November 14, 2007 in Chongqing, the Three Gorges Museum, the youngest municipality directly under the central government of the Republic, on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the sacrifice of Jiang Jie, a martyr of the Chongqing underground party revolution in the novel "Red Rock", exhibited an extremely precious collection: "Sister Jiang's Orphan Testament"!

Many people who have read the novel "Red Rock" are familiar with the plot of Sister Jiang's heroic and indomitable struggle in prison.

However, I feel that Sister Jiang can still smoothly transmit her letters to the outside world in the Zha di Cave Prison, which is called the "Magic Cave", I feel that there are some doubts: the methods of the secret agents of the military command are cruel and vicious, and the supervision and terror procedures in prison are complicated, how did Sister Jiang get these pens, inks and papers? Through whom did this unwavering faith, prepared for bravery and righteousness, and written down, come from the slag cave prison?

Thinking tearfully, the prisoner revolutionaries who knew that this prison was extremely difficult to contact the outside world were eager to find opportunities to establish a channel of communication with the outside world. Sister Jiang, who has been tortured to the end, is also a person with a heart among them.

Through meticulous observation, she carefully approached and inspected, and finally succeeded in countering one of the guards in the slag cave.

On June 14, 1948, Sister Jiang was identified as a traitor who had defected to the Kuomintang military command and was unfortunately arrested in Wanxian County. He was then imprisoned in the infamous Kuomintang Prison in Chongqing.

Sister Jiang is being put in the second cell of the women's cell of the Zha Di Dong Prison. Before that, Zeng Zixia, a revolutionary female comrade in Chongqing, was arrested by the Kuomintang military commander together with her partner Liu Guozhi and held in the second female cell for a long time. In her contacts with Zeng Zixia, Sister Jiang received an important piece of information: Among the young guards guarding the cell, there was a young guard from Zigong Rong County, Sichuan Province, who, as a "fellow villager," quietly said to Zeng Zixia not long ago: "You are from Neijiang, Sichuan, I am from Rong County, we are fellow villagers, and if you need help in ordinary times, let me say a word." ”

Out of vigilance and suspicion, Zeng Zixia did not pay much attention to this person. After listening to Zeng Zixia's briefing, the meticulous Sister Jiang thought that perhaps this was an opportunity to rebel. Sister Jiang's birthplace was also Zigong, Sichuan, so she consulted with Zeng Zixia and prepared to carefully try to contact the guard named Huang Maocai.

Huang Maocai was born in the countryside of Rong County, Zigong Region, Sichuan. When I was young, I saw my parents and family members living in extreme poverty and suffering, "facing the loess and facing the sky".

Although Huang Maocai's family is poor, his parents' brains are not stupid and their minds are not conservative. In the situation that the family was slightly able to live, the parents forced their son Huang Maocai to send his son Huang Maocai to the academy to study. Huang Maocai actually completed all his studies in the middle school and became a junior high school graduate.

Don't underestimate this education! In the first half of the last century, there was a junior high school education, and it was also a well-known little "intellectual".

After finishing junior high school, Huang Maocai also grew tall like a young man. As a result, he was almost caught by the soldiers. As a result, the poor and fearful parents moved their hearts to think about the relationship and find a way to survive for their son Huang Maocai. The two old men then thought of Liu Chongwei, who was somewhat related to his relatives in the neighborhood. Liu Chongwei, who was both an acquaintance and a little close, was working as an errand boy in the Chuankang Appeasement Office, and in the course of hard work, he also became a small official.

Under the repeated pleading of Huang Maocai's parents, Liu Chongwei helped arrange Huang Maocai to enter the Chuankang Appeasement Office and do a miscellaneous job.

After all, Huang Maocai has read more than ten years of books, can write and calculate, write neatly and fluently, although people are simple but appear smart and clever, after a period of experience, Liu Chongwei promoted Huang Maocai to serve as a lieutenant around him.

The world is changeable, and life is full of twists and turns. Huang Maocai's days of writing and scribing documents did not last long, and the establishment of Liu Chongwei's Chuankang Appeasement Office was suddenly abolished. Fortunately, Huang Maocai did not lose his job, and after he was annexed and integrated, he was arranged to go to Zha Di Dong Prison, from a lieutenant clerk to an ordinary prison guard, responsible for guarding the second cell area of the prison. This year, Huang Mao was only in his early 20s.

The leaders of the Kuomintang military unification secret service have consistently carried out the task of brainwashing all the guards, so that every guard can accept the concept in a unified way: The "prisoners" held in the slag hole are all extremely vicious people and "bad people" who are out-and-out.

In his contact with these "prisoners," Huang Maocai found that among them were journalists, teachers, intellectuals, workers, and even students. He did not see the barbarism of these people, but was polite and measured. Especially after seeing more of these people's strong will to die indomitable, Huang Maocai felt some vague admiration and sympathy in his heart.

In the process of working in the prison, he wanted to recognize Zeng Zixia, a fellow countryman, and wanted to provide her with some help within his ability, which happened in this state of ideology.

Previously, Zeng Zixia was highly suspicious of Huang Maocai's oral expression. Now, after Jiang Jie's analysis and reminder, she also felt that she could carefully seek verification to see if she could plot against Huang Maocai and let him pass some information outside the prison.

Next, with the help of Zeng Zixia, Sister Jiang learned through a period of contact and successfully recognized Huang Maocai, a "fellow countryman". Soon, Zeng Zixia also knitted a sweater for Huang Maocai. Although the sweater is not worth much money, it can be clearly seen that Huang Maocai is still very grateful.

After these initial attempts, Sister Jiang asked Zeng Zixia to pass on the first insignificant message to the outside world through Huang Maocai.

The result: Huang Maocai successfully delivered these messages. Successfully completed the task. Through several consecutive inspections, the Jiang sisters came to the conclusion that Huang Maocai "can do something for the comrades in prison."

Can a verbal message be delivered, can a text be passed? In order to solve the problem of paper, pencil and ink, the Jiang sisters grind the chopsticks into bamboo skewers as pens, and then use cotton to burn into ash into ink, and mix water to become ink. The problem of paper is also solved in a clever move: wear rotten white clothes, tear off a piece, and you can use it as paper! These vivid descriptions in the novel "Red Rock" are all reproductions of the real struggle situation of the Jiang sisters in prison.

Thanks to the efforts of Sister Jiang and Zeng Zixia, Huang Maocai became their "underground liaison". He repeatedly passed on important news to outside party organizations, saving many Communists who had been betrayed by traitors and were about to be arrested.

On the eve of the liberation of Chongqing, the agents of the military command acted abnormally, and Jiang Jie and other comrades who were locked up in the slag cave had already sensed that the agents might be about to act. In case of the unexpected, Sister Jiang wrote the "last suicide note". On August 26, 1949, Huang Maocai took Sister Jiang's suicide note to her friend Tan Zhenglun: "If you are unfortunate, Yun'er (Peng Yun, Sister Jiang's only flesh and blood) will be given to you, hoping to follow in the footsteps of your parents, to build a new China, and to fight to the end for the cause of the communist revolution." ”

According to Sister Jiang's instructions, Huang Maocai successfully handed over the suicide note to Tan Zhenglun's younger brother. Completed Sister Jiang's wish.

In November of the same year, just before Sister Jiang's heroic righteousness, the commander-in-chief of the Zha di Dong Army informed Huang Maocai that some of them had been dismissed from their positions as prison guards, leaving them to run their own errands.

Huang Maocai realized that by dismissing these people at such a time, there might be some big moves within the military command. Therefore, he told the news to Hu Qifen in the women's prison before leaving. Based on this, the revolutionaries in prison wrote a "Final Report" and handed it to Huang Maocai, asking him to send the letter to the contact person of the major medical school.

The situation is urgent! After learning about the situation in prison, Liu Kang was also anxious and decided to immediately organize armed forces to rescue him. However, due to the lack of time and the implementation of the plan, the military command agents have begun the massacre. The plan for armed rescues was unfortunately not implemented.

Soon, the rumbling cannon sounded outside Chongqing's neighbors! It's dawn in Chongqing! Chaotianmen Port sounded the victory horn of liberating the new students!

After liberation, the people's government and the people of the mountain city of Chongqing have not forgotten the martyrs who heroically sacrificed for today's victory. Soon, the people's public security department in Shancheng began to liquidate the murderers of Jiang Jie and other revolutionary martyrs.

In order to alleviate their own guilt, some military command agents denounced Huang Maocai, saying that he was also the "murderer" who killed Sister Jiang.

At this time, Huang Maocai, after being dismissed by the military commander, had returned to his hometown in the countryside and found an errand at school.

In 1951, the "town counter-movement" was launched throughout the country. One day, Huang Maocai's school rushed into several public security personnel, and Huang Maocai was arrested by the county public security bureau on charges of participating in the massacre of Jiang Jie and other revolutionary volunteers in Chongqing's Zha di Dong.

Just as the county public security bureau pronounced his death sentence and prepared to execute him, Huang Maocai suddenly loudly defended: I am not a murderer! I've never been involved in killing people! The Jiang sisters were still alive when I left the slag cave! I have sent many letters to Sister Jiang in Zha Di Dong! ......

On that day, Huang Maocai's younger brother, Huang Maowei, crying and asking several people to carry the door panels for collecting the corpses, prepared to rush on foot to Houshan Square in Zigongrong County, Sichuan Province, where Huang Maocai was shot and collected his body.

When he learned that his brother Huang Maocai had not been shot, his younger brother Huang Maowei was on his knees and crying, glad that Huang Maocai could survive a life.

Huang Maocai, who cried out for injustice, told in detail about his time in the slag cave to deliver information to the revolutionary volunteers in prison. The county public security bureau also believes that this matter has a board and an eye, and it seems logical to analyze it. But the most fundamental point, Huang Maocai could not come up with any strong basis. Therefore, although the public security bureau did not execute Huang Maocai, he was sent to the laogai farm.

In September 1964, Huang Maocai was approved for early release. After experiencing a tortuous life, he returned to his hometown in the countryside of Rong County, where he had been separated for more than ten years.

tempus fugit! The calendar on the wall flipped to May 1981. It was a moment that Huang Maocai should remember in his lifetime: he received an invitation letter: the address of the letter was the Chongqing Martyrs' Cemetery Memorial Hall. The letter was written to him by Lu Guangguang, director of the Chongqing Martyrs Memorial Hall. The purpose is that the insiders in Chongqing said that Sister Jiang's letter was delivered by Huang Maocai, and Director Lu wanted to know some details.

During the trip to Chongqing, with the help of Director Lu Guangguang, Huang Mao, who was already in his twilight years, saw the letters he had delivered to the Jiang sisters. Seeing things and thinking about people, recalling the Jiang sisters before the sacrifice. Looking back at his own life path, Huang Maocai, who was full of silver hair, couldn't help but feel sad from it, and tears came out of his eyes...

The good news is that Zeng Zixia, who was rescued from prison, is still alive and well!!

In May 1982, the Rong County CPPCC added Huang Maocai as a member of the CPPCC County Committee, paid part of his salary according to relevant regulations, and gave him some living allowances every month. Huang Maocai's family moved to town. Soon, the government funded and built a building for him for the elderly...

In 2011, the TV station re-produced the TV series "Red Rock", which included Huang Maocai's story and image as an important content.
