The Knicks cut Trier and claimed Theo Pinson

The Knicks officially announced that the adoption of Theo Pinsen will cut guard Arenzo Trier.

Pinson is 1.96 meters tall and has played 51 games for the Nets in the past two seasons, averaging 3.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11.3 minutes per game.

Trier has played in 88 games for the Knicks in the past two years, averaging 9.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 19.9 minutes per game.

Pinson is contracted to 1.7 million team options next season, and this season he shoots just 29 percent from the field and 19 percent from three-point range. He was cut by the Nets not long ago.
