According to the Ocean Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, at the beginning of the new year, the "Xiangyanghong 01" research vessel, which is performing a scientific expedition voyage on the evolution of lithospheric structures in the Indian Ocean, has sent a good report, which has been successfully launched into the seabed seismometer array, and for the first time successfully deployed a comprehensive observation submarine on the ocean floor, in order to explore the deep earth process and dynamic mechanism of the Indian Ocean ridge to obtain first-hand scientific observation data.
It is reported that the voyage began on December 16, 2020, organized and implemented by the First Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources, with a total of 54 participating members, from the First Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Southern University of Science and Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Tianjin Grantley Marine Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shandong Top Hydraulic and Pneumatic Co., Ltd. and other units.
