Recently, Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Port Shipbuilding Industry"), an enterprise in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, successfully delivered the marine research vessel "Xiangyanghong 51" reconstructed by the Beihai Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources, marking another major breakthrough in the field of ship reconstruction.
It is understood that after the modification of the "Xiangyanghong 51", the total length is 74 meters, the width is 10 meters, the depth is 4.7 meters, and the full load displacement is 1200 tons. As an ocean research vessel, the "Xiangyanghong 51" meets the needs of comprehensive survey of marine resources and environment in the sea area under its jurisdiction, and supports geological survey operations such as 1000m-class underwater remote control robot (ROV), large-scale underwater towing towing survey, and 1000m-class water depth sediment sampling.
In the future, the ship will carry out meteorological observation, hydrological survey, marine gravity field, marine geology and other professional surveys in China's waters.
