This is a Korean film released on September 2, 2010.
The film was directed by Jang Chul-so and starred Seo Young-hee, Ji Sung-won, Hwang Min-ho and Park Jung-gak. The film was shortlisted at the 2010 Festival de Cannes.
Originally an ordinary rural woman, Kim Fu-nam grew up on a closed island.
Due to long-term labor, her skin is dark, untrimmed, and her messy hair makes it impossible to see her facial features.
However, she often has a smile on her face, and she is enthusiastic, industrious, simple and kind.
Even so, she was never treated well by the people of the island.
