In 1919, the "May Fourth Movement" initiated by young students in Beijing caused a sensation in history and shocked the world.
The world only knew that the participants at that time were students of Peking University, but they did not know that the student leader at that time was a "fat man" named Fu Sinian.
The reason why He Si Nian was called a "fat man" was not disrespectful or empty, because Chairman Mao, a young man who was a staff member of the Peking University Library at the time, thought the same thing when he first saw him.
Chairman Mao, who was immersed in the library, saw several students come in, and the "fat man" was the famous Fu Si Nian.

There are even rumors that Chairman Mao slapped Fu Sinian, who went to the library to borrow books, and did not take good care of him.

In fact, if you look at his life, you will find that during the more than fifty years that Fu Si Nian was alive, he studied for the sake of continuing to learn from the saints, but also for the destiny of heaven and earth, and for the peace of all the worlds.
But as he himself said: he is just Chen Sheng, Wu Guang, and the like, and some roads may not be suitable for him, so he withdrew in time and returned to academia, but his life was too ostentatious and may not end well.
Fu Sinian was born in 1896 in Liaocheng, Shandong Province, the Fu family is a traditional scholarly door, but when Fu Sinian was born, this big family had already declined, and at the age of 9, his father died.
Born in such an era, it can only be said that it was not the right time to be born, because it was born of sorrow, a lifetime of sorrow.
At the same time as the country's internal and external troubles, the Fu family's orphans and widows, life has also fallen into a dilemma, Fu Sinian's hard days have begun since childhood, and it is the norm to worry about the future.
Many years later, Fu Sinian's mother fell ill, and the doctor told her not to eat too much meat, but Fu Sinian let her eat braised meat, only because her mother had not enjoyed the blessing, "meat" is a luxury.
The degree of poverty can be imagined, but those who can achieve great things have never been depressed by the current predicament, and most of them are more and more courageous, chairman Mao is like this, and so is Fu Sinian.
Perhaps the teenager has made a grand ambition to change the poor fate of the "small family" through reading, and to realize the freedom of "everyone" through resistance.
The latter was achieved through hard work, the former he worked hard all his life, and when he was dying in his fifties, he was still saving up for his wife's future life.
Born of sorrow, death is also troubled, and even if he has not ended up with a good wind evaluation, Fu Si Nian's life is also somewhat miserable.
But this is all an afterthought, at that time in the embarrassment of Fu Sinian, perhaps there is a family origin here, has been diligent in learning, but also to use composition for food, poor acid students, more or less.

Although Shuxiang Mendi was defeated, there was still a breath of gas, whether it was Fu Mu or Fu Sinian himself, he never gave up going to school, so at the age of 20, Fu Sinian successfully promoted to Peking University.

In 1919, Peking University students led by Fu Sinian set off a vigorous movement that attracted worldwide attention.

Then he understood that this behavior was too hasty, so he returned to academia and went to study in England and Germany.

During his study abroad, he immersed himself in hard study, and at that time, some people even compared Fu Sinian and Chen Yinke to "a pair of stone lions at the gate of Ningguo Mansion".
Because most of the international students are noisy all day and divorce at home, and the outside love and marriage, as if falling in love - divorce - marriage, has become the fashion of international students.
But Fu Si Nian did not follow the crowd, although he had accepted the family's arrangement to marry an unsatisfactory wife as early as the age of 16, but at this time he could not care about love.
Until a few years later, a woman named Yu Dacai appeared, filling the gap in Fu Si's life and providing strong support for Fu Si's choice in the second half of his life.
Yu Dacai to Fu Sinian, just as Jiang Ying to Qian Zhongshu, a successful man must have a woman behind him, but this cheesy sentence is also the most reasonable quote in the marriage relationship.

Mr. Hu Shi witnessed Fu Sinian's study and life process, and he was also very concerned about his love affair.
He once recorded in his diary that Fu Sinian and Yu Dacai were in love, saying: "Meng Zhen (Fu Sinian) has been in love for nearly two months and has been mad all day long.
People who fall in love are crazy, and Fu Si Nian is no exception.
In 1934, Fu Sinian, who returned from studying abroad, took out a break-up fee and handed it over to the original Ding Dip As a "youth compensation fee", which ended the old feudal marriage that lasted for more than 20 years.

There is no emotion between Fu Sinian and the original marriage, which is beyond doubt, and Yu Dacai is an important factor in Fu Sinian's divorce, which is also obvious.
However, we cannot blindly condemn Fu Si Nian's thin feelings, after all, under the "arranged marriage" system, it has always been a lose-lose situation.
Nor can it be simply said that Yu Dacai sabotaged other people's marriages, because she was really a very good woman, she witnessed Fu Si Nian's "pure heart" and supported him unconditionally.
In August of that year, after peacefully settling the loveless marriage with the original partner, Fu Sinian married Yu Dacai.

It can be seen that Fu Sinian never forgot about the country for a moment, but everyone's patriotic way is different, and after many years of standing in the wrong team, he will be scolded, which no one can control.

People are full of criticism for Fu Sinian's going to Taiwan in his later years, but his pure heart for the country and the nation is beyond doubt, and Yu Dacai is the best witness.
When the Anti-Japanese War was victorious, Fu Sinian was still in Chongqing, and when he heard the news, he was so excited that he wrote a letter to his wife.
He said: When he heard the news of Japan's surrender, he was ecstatic, rushed out of his apartment, rushed to the street, danced with his hands, hugged people when he saw them, and shouted wildly until his voice was exhausted.

A note was also attached to the calligraphy work, which was specially explained: "Today, when I hear Chen Sheng and Wu Guangzhi say, it is inevitable that it is too modest, so the Tang poetry is widespread." ”
It can be seen that the so-called "one slap" rumor is empty, and Chairman Mao is nothing more than trying to tell him that dealing with the enemy is an experience gained from practice.
Because Fu Sinian became the "guest of honor" of old Chiang after he arrived in Taiwan, people say that Fu Sinian stood on the side of old Chiang, and Hu Shi was the same as Hu Shi.
But in fact, he was just a free man in the cracks, and he had no so-called feud with Chairman Mao, nor was he good with old Chiang Kai-shek.
All his life, he didn't know what it meant to be alone? But in front of patriotism, he had his own way, and in front of the team, he went on his own.
