The story of "Xiao He Yuexia chasing Han Xin" is very familiar to everyone, and Han Xin chose to leave Liu Bang because he was not reused. As a result, Xiao He knew that it took three days and three nights to chase Xiao He back, and under Xiao He's strong recommendation, Liu Bang had to appoint Han Xin as a general. Han Xin did not live up to the expectations of the people, repeatedly made meritorious contributions for Liu Bang, and finally helped Liu Bang win the world and was named "Marquis of Huaiyin". This is where the Han Dynasty lasted for hundreds of years.
Nowadays, in the Nanjing Municipal Museum, there is such a blue and white porcelain plum vase in Jingdezhen, and the shoulder and abdomen are engraved with the story of "Xiao He Yue chasing Han Xin".
This plum bottle of "Chasing Han Xin Under the Moon of Xiao He" is painted with various blue and white ornaments throughout, and the vivid expression of the characters painted in the bottle is particularly wonderful: the anxiety of Xiao He Ce's horse galloping, the hesitation of han Xin watching by the river, and the expectation of the old man holding the pulp, are all vividly expressed. In the blank space, the village is decorated with cang pine, plum bamboo, and mountain stones, which are intricately arranged. The plum bottle is not only pleasant and beautiful, but also the white glaze is clean and moist, the blue and white materials are suitable, the hair color is bright, the layering is rich, and the Tao Jin's rubbing porcelain brushwork makes the picture have the magic of Danqing, and the whole body emits the luster of the beautiful vessel. It can be called a masterpiece of blue and white porcelain in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties.
There is no similarity among the surviving Yuanqinghua, and the Yuanqinghua porcelain with historical stories as the decorative theme is very difficult to draw and burn, so it is extremely valuable. So, how did this rare treasure come to the world? The story also has to start from the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, the military general Mu Ying.
Mu Ying was the adopted son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the King of Qianning, and one of the founding heroes of the Ming Dynasty. In 1368, Zhu Yuanzhang made the capital at Yingtian (present-day Nanjing) and proclaimed himself emperor. The situation stabilized slightly, and Zhu Yuanzhang began to conquer the border. In the tenth year of Hongwu, Mu Ying served as the "deputy general of the expedition to the west" and accompanied Deng Yue in his conquest of Tubo. Mu Ying successively conquered Sichuan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Yunnan and other places. Because in the campaign to conquer the Great Southwest, Mu Ying's battle achievements were the greatest, Zhu Yuanzhang arranged for him to stay in Yunnan, "ZhendianZhong". Since then, the western border defense of the Ming Dynasty for nearly 300 years has been guarded by Mujia Town, and Mujia has become a veritable "King of Yunnan".
Later, in order to reward Mu Ying's merits, Zhu Yuanzhang gave Mu Ying the plum bottle of "Xiao He Yuexia Chasing Han Xin". Mu Ying loves this plum bottle very much, and will sit next to it to read and drink tea when she has a little free time. In the fifteenth year of Hongwu (1382), in the eighth month of the lunar calendar, Mu Ying heard that the adoptive mare queen had died of illness, and her grief was excessive, and she cried all day, and she has been infected since then. In addition, Mu Ying and Prince Zhu Biao also have a deep relationship. In June of the twenty-fifth year of Hongwu (1392), Mu Ying, who was far away in Yunnan, heard that Zhu Biao had died and "cried extremely sadly". The mighty general who looked mighty in ordinary days actually cried twice because of the death of his relatives, inadvertently injuring his internal organs, and his mind was often muddy and his qi and blood were not smooth. Mu Ying, who was 48 years old at the time, was hit by this accident and soon fell ill. Mu Ying knew that his fate would soon be over, so he instructed his descendants to be sure to bury this plum bottle with him.
Mu Ying's death shook greatly in Yunnan, and history said that "the military and civilian lanes wept, and the distant yi were all drooling." Zhu Yuanzhang, who was far away in Nanjing, immediately ordered Mu Ying's body to be transported back to Nanjing, posthumously named him the "King of Qianning", and solemnly performed a funeral for him and buried him in Guanyin Mountain, Jiangning. Guanyin Mountain is about 20 kilometers away from the Zhonghua Gate, because Mu Ying, a major general, was buried here, and later renamed "General Mountain". After that, the Mu Ying family died and were buried in general mountain, which became the famous tomb of the Mu family.
Everyone knows the status of the Mu family in the Ming Dynasty, so the Mu family's cemetery has also become the object of coveting by tomb robbers near and far. Because the descendants of the Mu family have always gained power and have always been guarded by tomb keepers, many tomb robbers have not succeeded. It was not until the liberation that a gang of thieves took advantage of the chaos of the war. The leader of this tomb robbery gang is called Kang Shuihai, a dongshanqiao person in Jiangning District, Nanjing, who is a typical Nanjing "real estate" tomb robber. It is said that he was born into a family of tomb robbers. At that time, the tomb robbers in Jiangning had a characteristic, when the year was approaching or when they were strapped for money, they would think of digging up tombs and digging up "treasures" to make money, and many ancient tombs near Jiangning were stolen in this way. Kang Yonghai embarked on the road of tomb robbery because of its high tomb robbery technology and large scale of tomb robbery, and gradually became famous. He organized a regularized gang of thieves. The local peasants in Ningning worked "part-time" in their spare time, and when these people were idle, they relied on stealing money for money to make a living.
Kangshui pirate Mu Ying tomb, should be more than once, before the liberation of Nanjing in 1949, he led people to steal Mu Ying's tomb. Details of the tomb of the Kangyong pirate Mu Ying are now impossible to find. It is said that after stealing Mu Ying's tomb, Kang Shuihai gave each accomplice one or two pieces of silver, and then everyone scattered. The incident was related to a plum bottle buried in Mu Ying's tomb.
After the liberation of Nanjing, the new government reformed the evils and cracked down criminal acts. The thief was worried that the treasure was in his hand, so he rushed to take action. One day, near Xinjiekou in Nanjing, a farmer held a large porcelain bottle and peddled it. There were many people coming and going, and they all wanted to buy this beautiful plum bottle, but they were scared to walk away when they asked the price. There are some interested and no money people who refuse to disperse, pointing around this plum bottle.
Coincidentally, this scene was seen by Chen Xinmin, a collector who opened an antique shop at that time and worked in the Nanjing Cultural Relics Company after liberation, and he judged that this was porcelain from the Yuan Dynasty and asked the seller how much money he wanted. When the man saw that Chen Xinmin knew the goods, he began to bargain. Treasures are unattainable and fleeting. Chen Xinmin finally bought it for 10 gold bars. He asked the man where he had obtained the plum bottle. The treasure seller avoided answering, and slipped away with the gold bar.
Chen Xinmin invited several senior peers to see the treasure, and after the identification of cultural relics experts, this plum bottle is a first-class national treasure and is of great value. They named this plum bottle "Blue Flower Xiao He Yue under the Moon Chasing Han Xin Big Plum Bottle".
Since then, the blue and white plum vase of "Xiao He Yue chasing Han Xin" has been regarded as a priceless treasure, and industry experts have circulated the saying that "one billion is not sold", which is simply a treasure of the world.
