Characteristics of the Yishan school seal carving

In terms of chapters, the seal carvings of the "Yishan School" pay attention to the density and interspersing, as if the ingenuity is unique, and it seems to be casually picked up, the secret characters are clear and sparse, and the meaning is full of interest; boldly expand the scope of seal engraving, Yi Ding, Quan Quan, Zhao, Quan Coin, Mirror Inscription, Ancient Pottery, Brick and Tile, Stone Carving, etc., have all been dissolved into the seal art, so that many of its works have the flavor of Ding Yi, Jing Ming and other words, which seem ordinary, but change endlessly.

In terms of knife technique, the "Yishan School" seal carving is clumsy, returning to the truth and simplicity, Huang Shiling changed the cutting knife to a thin-bladed punching knife, completely in accordance with tradition, the knife is extremely vertical, no different from the pen, each painting is light and strong, fierce and strong, washing and thick, the rise of each line, in one go, crisp and clean, the charm of the knife and the beauty of the line are very strong.

The art of seal engraving of the "Yishan School" is also reflected in the engraving of the side section of the seal, the side section is unique, with a single knife to imitate the six dynasties of the book, thick and sharp, just like its book, large or small, all have pen and ink, the big one sees Shen Xiong, and the small one is beautiful.

Poetry, calligraphy and painting are never separated from the family, and the paintings are attached to the view.
