As a writer who was once printed on the banknotes of the thousand yen, Natsume Soseki's status is not high.
The first thing that I knew was in the textbook, when I introduced him, I listed "I Am a Cat"; but what I really looked at seriously was the love trilogy of "Sansilang", "From Now on" and "Door".
I don't remember when I bought the book, or whether I read it or not; but in this unpleasant early summer, I read it again as if I first saw it.
When I closed the page, it seemed as if Sanshiro and Youzi were looking at the clouds behind the mountain, trying to get closer, but finally went away;
It was Daisuke who confided in Michiyo in the sitting room, and he gave a plausible promise, but it finally failed to come true;
It was Munakata who hid in a mountain temple, and he wanted to seek peace of mind, but he always fell asleep while listening to Zen.
For me, a good novel is like this, after a long, long time, you may forget its plot, but there is always one or more pictures that are deeply engraved in your mind.
These three novels are recognized as the sequel to "From Now On".
But I think that "Sansilang" is of course also the first part of "From Now On".
Three novels, in fact, about the same man,
His heart is not very firm, and he is very confused about his future, so he can only wander in the big times.
Sanshiro, who was admitted to university from the countryside, divided the world into three for a long time:
The "past" that does not want to go back, that is, the hometown of the quiet old school, the old way of life;

The bustling world that the heart yearns for but cannot reach is "brilliant and dazzling" and "spring light".
When Sanshiro graduated from college, he transformed into a substitute assistant.
Because in a world of intense change, there is no place to live, and it lives by nibbling on the old.
But even if it is inseparable from the family's support, it cannot succumb to the responsibility given by the family, even if it is only "marriage".
He gave his beloved Michiyo to his friend, regretted it and could not make a decision, and gave up the action of "taking someone's wife" to the decision of others, while he passively waited for fate to come.
Sosuke finally leaves with his beloved woman;
There is no doubt that the two love each other, but Sosuke, who has made a choice, is still unable to actively do anything for the future.
It's still evasion, it's still evasion.
Whether it's his brother's tuition fees or the antique screens in the change seller; he always hides his ears, thinking that when the time comes, the solution is free to go.
After watching "The Door", back to the beginning of "Sanshiro", Sanshiro helps a woman on the train and helps her and the two live in a hotel;
The woman made an invitation out of gratitude, and Sanshiro was obviously itchy but did not dare to take a step across the thunder pool——
It turns out that this beginning foreshadows the ending: hesitant, wobbly, hesitant, hesitant.
Although in fact each of the trilogy is an open-ended ending.
There is no ending, but the ending can be seen at a glance.
Now, more than a hundred years later, Sanshiro, Daisuke, and Sosuke seem to have traveled through time to come to this world.
Even if you have experienced two world wars and experienced terrible economic and technological developments,
But looking inward, many of us are still caught up in the confusion of life and the future.
We are all kind, and we all have an inexplicable zeal, with vague expectations for the future, but we are always repeatedly beaten by our own cowardice and hard reality.
In this state, someone needs a bowl of chicken soup or a bowl of poisonous chicken soup; but it is certainly not the chicken soup that will work in the end, but yourself.
I am the one who knows what I should be, but who is afraid and unwilling to wait for fate and pretends to be helpless.
On that day, on Baoyu's birthday, he received a congratulatory note from Miaoyu, in which Miaoyu called himself "an outsider of the threshold"; Baoyu did not know his understanding, and after asking Xing Xianyan, he returned it with "threshold insider".
Myoyu's "outside the threshold", or Munakata's "inside the door", refers to the high realm far from the world.
But how many sentient beings can enter the "door"?
Most people, just like Baoyu and Zongsuke, can only enter the "sill" and "outside the door", and the flies camp dogs.
Not to mention, Miao Yu herself was not saying that she was outside the threshold, and her heart was still inside the threshold.
