Feng Jintang, known as "cousin", enrolled in the 8th TVB Artist Training Class in 1979. After graduation, he joined the dubbing team and is currently one of the most senior voice actors on TVB.
He has dubbed many cartoons in Cantonese and accompanied his friends after the 80s and 90s to spend a happy childhood.
Feng Jintang's voice is most impressively voiced by Xiao Zhiqiang in "Soccer Boy", in addition to "Saint Seiya" Star Ya, "Dragon Ball" Flute Magic Boy, "Sailor Moon" Field Guard (Dress Masked Man), "Hundred Changes Sakura Magic Card" Kinomoto Momoya and other classic characters in the anime.
The news that "cousin" Feng Jintang was not renewed has recently gone viral on social platforms, and many people are very upset. Many people expressed their gratitude to him for bringing everyone good childhood memories.
However, at present, looking through the official TVB website, you can still see the name of the cousin in the dubbing column.
In January of this year, TVB veteran voice actor Zeng Peiyi began not dubbing any TVB broadcast foreign language episodes or animations. News came out that she left the nest in a low profile because she did not get a renewal from the company.

In the 30 years since entering the industry, Zeng Peiyi has played countless animated characters, the most impressive of which is the first generation of voice acting of the moon hare in the classic Japanese anime "Sailor Moon".
Zeng Peiyi also starred with Naruto Shinobe in "The Legend of the Demon God Heroes", Daisuke Hongu in "Digital Tyrannosaurus", Niu Huangmei in "Hamtarō", Angole Moya in "Keroro Cobia", Happy Sheep in "Pleasant Goat and Gray Wolf", and so on.
In recent years, the Korean dramas and Japanese dramas introduced in TVB, such as Korean star Song Huiqiao, Rimi Ishihara, and Chen Qiao'en, have all played Cantonese in the later stages of Zeng Peiyi.
In addition, the Bilingual Radio Cantonese dubbing of Pearl Tv, produced by the TVB dubbing team, is about to become a thing of the past. TVB has decided to cancel the relevant dubbing production, and will no longer provide Cantonese dubbing for future episodes and movie information or variety shows broadcast on Pearl TV.
TVB's internal employees revealed that all the premiered American dramas have not been dubbed again, and the newly broadcasts will not be matched again. Due to the reduction in production hours requiring dubbing, two of the original five recording studios will be deactivated.
It is understood that most of the purchased programs broadcast by TVB on the financial information station have been given to reporters of the Ministry of News and Information, or outsourced to the company to be responsible for dubbing work.
It is understood that Hong Kong's broadcasting ordinance and free television licensing provisions do not require television stations to provide bilingual broadcasting for English-language programmes. TVB's decision this time should also be a commercial decision to conform to the market, but it may have a great impact on the older generation of viewers later.
