In this issue of "There Are Young People To Say", we invited Guo Zihong as an interview guest. He is currently studying at Guangzhou University, majoring in Business Administration. He now works in Guangzhou and is engaged in the insurance claims industry. He was born in Guangzhou, Beijing, and returned to Guangzhou after graduating from elementary school.
Games are his way of integrating into the collective
In the eyes of most people, as a guangzhou native, he could have been like the Guangzhou locals in everyone's impression, collecting rent, lying flat, and casually working to experience life.
However, is this really the case?
When he was in elementary school, Guo Zihong began a game adventure in order to integrate into the group faster and meet more friends.
According to Zihong's classmates, games were the fastest way to integrate into the group at that time, and it was also a common topic between himself and his friends. Once the topic was opened, it was out of control.
Like all teenagers, he was addicted to online games, abandoned his studies, and could not extricate himself. At the peak of his gaming career, he once organized and led a game team to dominate the full service and occupy the first position in the list for two months.
The so-called mountain is outside the mountain, and there are people outside the people. Just when he was complacent about his record, he suffered the first setback of his gaming career.
At that time, he was "ambitious" and formed a team with his classmates to participate in national game competitions. They made it all the way to the final.
Just when they thought they could win the first place with mutual tacit understanding and skilled operation skills, they stopped in the top three because of the mistakes in tactical and strategic decision-making, and only won the fourth place.

In this match with the winner, the teenager fell into meditation: why play the game, what is the purpose of playing the game? What else can you do if you don't play the game?
Because he was addicted to games, Guo Zihong failed the exam, so he casually went to a technical school, went to school, graduated, and then entered the work. Every day is a three-point line in the dormitory, classroom and canteen, repeating day after day, making him feel the dullness of life.
In order to adjust to his boring life, he began to look for his new interests. Fortunately, he has an optimistic and cheerful friend by his side, who is willing to pull him along, take him to learn to see the world with the lens of a camera, and discover the colors of life from a different perspective.
When he first entered the world of photography, he groped in a new world of ignorance, and his introductory master was his father. It was his father who taught him to use the lens to discover the light of life and the beauty of the world. Therefore, Guo Zihong has gradually learned to open his heart to the world, understand the world, and integrate into the world.
According to his recollection of his photographic experience, he once tried to go out on his own for a day of filming. In order to capture a satisfactory sunrise shot, he walked from day to night, and from night to dawn in the early morning, filming as he walked.
In the early morning waiting for the sunrise to come, he also met a senior peer, and before he could speak, the senior took the initiative to share his experience and enthusiastically exchanged ideas with him.
This time the consultation also gave Guo Zihong a breakthrough in eliminating social phobia, and it turned out that dealing with strangers was not as difficult as imagined.
Maybe we laymen can't understand why it takes so much effort to take a picture.
But in the words of his idol, Robert Kappa, if your picture isn't good enough, it's because you're not close enough.
This also made him convinced that good photos are worth waiting for, and the process of waiting is the joy obtained in photography.
Upgrade your academic qualifications
It's a way out of stress
During the interview, Guo Zihong has always presented a cheerful and lively image. But like most urbanites, he has the pressure of being in a big city.
Buying a house, buying a car, working and employment, starting a family... The pressures of life and work had also overwhelmed him.
He said: The demand for academic qualifications on the current recruitment platform is basically college or above, but in a few years, the requirements for academic qualifications may be above bachelor's degree. Therefore, people cannot stay on a level forever, and must continue to climb up.
And the improvement of academic qualifications is the way for us to climb up. Now that I'm promoted to an undergraduate level, it's just one way to stay competitive, and if I need to do better than others, I need to run faster than others. Therefore, if I have the ability, I will continue to improve my graduate school after graduating from undergraduate.
The story of Guo Zihong tells us that in most ordinary and ordinary days, we must rely on ourselves to discover the light in life.
He learned in his hobby how to face failure, spend time in those days when he couldn't ask for it, how to get a sense of meaning in life, to find that "self", and to have a full sense of happiness.
