Healing writer Su Hei's first novel came out, unlocking the code of pain

"Such Mountains, Ancient Trees and Me", Su Hei, Tianjin People's Publishing House, August 2017

The first novel features two endings

"Like a Mountain, An Ancient Tree and Me" is SuHei's first personal novel. SuHei said that she rarely writes novels because it takes a long time to have a story. The reason why she writes now is because she wants to send a gift to herself. At the same time, it stems from the desire to explore why I know that I will hurt, or I will hurt love.

Su Hei spent nearly two years writing the novel, trying to find an outlet for four life problems caused by pain: why people turn love into harm, whether the person who is hurt is innocent, why good people are always hurt, and what responsibility people bear for their own pain.

Su Hei said that these questions are not easy to answer, and they involve some very deep, spiritual thinking. "The more I read this novel, the more painful it gets, and I try to provide an outlet."

Unlike other novels, the book has two endings. SuHei said that she did not actually plan to write novels in advance. After writing the first ending of the first draft, I felt that it would not be just like this, so I wrote another ending. She said she didn't prefer which ending, nor did she think about which ending the reader would prefer, but just thought it was life.

The new book unlocks the code of pain and solves the myth of healing

"Like a Mountain, An Ancient Tree and Me" is a story about pain, healing and transformation. The youngest psychological doctor in the city, after the love injury, has gained the ability to see through the pain roots of all people at a glance, but he can only find an outlet for his own pain. Determined to let go of everything and go to Iceland to heal her wounds shaped like a birthmark on her body, she meets a mysterious stylist tea man, helps her see the fate that is repeated with her original family, and embarks on a journey to find and unravel the code of pain.

In response to the reader's misunderstanding of the existence of healing, Su Hei said that the purpose of healing is not to make us no longer hurt, which is a naïve or even ignorant idea. Healing has only one purpose, and it is to learn how to live with the pain that follows. If we don't understand this, we will never come out, we will always feel pain, we will feel like a victim.

There are many public figures and celebrities in the three places on both sides of the strait who respect Suhei. Mainland actor Yang Mi said that reading Su Hei's teacher's book made her understand that love is not just such a narrow and simple thing. Teacher Su Hei is really a master who can read our hearts. Taiwanese actor, singer and writer Yi Nengjing said that suhei's words are the only light that leads you forward in the corners where even you want to forget when your soul is dark and helpless. Hong Kong director Peng Haoxiang believes that Su Hei is the Moses who leads readers through the Red Sea of Love. The new book of the same name music album is online, and the healing tea list recommends ten kinds of teas

"Tea" is an important element in this novel, an important "medicine guide" to heal all kinds of pain. Su Hei said: "Tea is a grateful fate for my self-healing in recent years. In fact, it is not that I chose tea, but tea that chose me. I want to borrow tea to tell my readers how to cultivate themselves. No matter how many plain black books you read, it is not as good as you can take a sip of tea and see yourself in the tea. ”

The book specially designs a delicate "numb tree tea list" for the teas that have appeared, including 10 kinds of teas such as "Mo Forget", "Chu Xin", "Asahi Moon", "Winter Wound", "Yuanyin", "Wonderland", "Xi Yan", "1984", "Put Down", "Worry about Thoughts" and so on. The tea list respectively introduces the production area, altitude, characteristics, taste, artistic conception, etc. of tea leaves, and even the drinking gender.

According to the editor of the book, Suhei specially invited the music team to customize a music album for the book, composing and interpreting shakuhachi, piano music and ensemble music, etc., each with its own unique story and experience. The performers and renditions are meticulous and meticulous, and the reader can simultaneously infect the atmosphere and picture that belongs to that plot through music when reading the book.
