Goethe was a German playwright, poet and thinker
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (28 August 1749 – 22 March 1832), the most important writer in Germany and Europe from the mid-18th century to the early 19th century, Whose works were full of the rebellious spirit of the Rushing Movement, and had high achievements in poetry, drama, and prose, including the play "Guz von Buryshingen", the novella "The Troubles of Young Werther", the unfinished poem "The Trouble of Young Werther", the unfinished poem "The Poetry" Prometheus" and the prototype of the poetic drama "Faust", "The Original Faust", in addition to writing many lyric poems and commentaries.
One of Goethe's hallmarks was that he shelved works that had already begun for several years, sometimes decades, made major revisions to published works, and pressed some finished works for a long time before they were printed.
