The reason why people make mistakes is because they do not have the right master in their hearts, just as many people do not know what they need, and what they pursue is only what the world or consciousness tells them to pursue.
When he works in one direction, it is not necessarily that he really needs this state, but succumbs to the choices made by the world; when he entangles and suffers for a thing, it is not the thing itself that makes him miserable, but the burden that exists in his mind that makes him miserable.
Therefore, there is a saying called: All sentient beings have upside-down dreams, and if there is no upside-down dream, they are not called sentient beings.
When a person pursues what he wants under the guidance of the wrong mentality, in fact, whether the outcome is successful or not, his behavior itself has a problem.
Therefore, in life, no matter whether they are successful or bad, what fills their hearts every day is pain, trouble, and entanglement.
And from another point of view, the gains and losses of life are only a kind of presentation of life encounters, whether you are successful or unsuccessful at this time, they are all formed by the combination of multiple factors, and most people are planning or being in these objective factors, there is no higher than the worldly heart, but also only living in their own desires and thoughts, so whether they gain or lose and succeed or fail, they are only the presentation of the secular level, not the result of true inner tranquility.
If one knows only how to live in a worldly way, how can one feel a higher peace of mind in such a life than the world, in which one can only attain temporary pleasure through matter, but cannot attain permanent inner peace of mind and peace.
If you find a "murderer" for the pain of life, then this "murderer" is the mentality of reversing your dreams, and such a mentality only shapes the wrong results, in the final analysis, because there is no correct root inside.
There is a saying in Zhuangzi: He who regards wealth as his own cannot be allowed to be lu; he who is manifested as a man cannot be given up his name; and he who is pro-power cannot be in agreement with others. Those who practice it are chestnut, and those who give it up are sad, and those who have nothing to learn, so as to spy on it, are the people of heaven.
The meaning of this sentence is that those who think that Fluke is a good thing will not give lilu to others; those who seek prominence as the right person will not give up fame to others; those who are obsessed with power will not give up power to others. Forgetting The Lilu, the fame and power, the fear of loss and the trembling of the whole day, and the abandonment of the above things will be miserable, and there is no discernment in the heart, and the eyes are only fixed on what they are endlessly chasing, such a person can only be regarded as a sinner punished by Heaven.
In life, most people are busy and busy pursuing only fame and interests, that is, the three things of profit, fame, and power, some lose the bottom line of life in the process of chasing, and some get these things and then fear of losing, and live trembling all day.
These things are originally just tools of life, but many people have turned it into the master of life, the role of a tool is for their own use, and the influence of "domination" is that a person attaches himself to it, afraid of changes in gains and losses, and excessive attachment produces pain at the same time, and some even lose their lives because of excessive attachment.
This is after being occupied by the erotic consciousness, causing a person to see the direction he really wants to go, so in the end he will only live in the wrong way.

All the joys and sorrows of life are self-amusement in this upside-down dream, because what you cling to and want will not give you the state of life you need, and the life you really need is to go from what you know and think to the "root" in life, and this "root" is your own heart.
And this is the truth that can get rid of the limitations of the erotic consciousness of life, can realize the problems existing in their own consciousness, and have a state of clear mind, not covered by lust, not pulled by consciousness, is the world's Homo sapiens.
For example, there is a saying in the Tao Te Ching called: What is the name and the body? How much is there in the body and goods? What is the disease of death or death? Love will cost a lot, and if you hide thickly, you will die. Therefore, contentment is not humiliating, knowledge is not lost, can be long-lasting.
The meaning of this sentence is to say: which is more worthy of cherishing, fame or body? Which is more important, body or possessions? Which is more harmful, fame and fortune, or loss of life? Excessive cherishing is bound to cause a lot of consumption, and a rich collection of goods is bound to cause heavy losses. Therefore, knowing that satisfaction will not be stigmatized, knowing that there will be no harm in stopping at the right time, so it can survive for a long time.
In this chapter, Lao Tzu expounds to us the idea that people should understand contentment, respect and cherish what can be naturally obtained in their lives, rather than being guided by their own erotic consciousness and endlessly pursuing a life that does not belong to them.
In fact, for many people, the wealth and fame that can be controlled by their minds and virtues are minimal, but what they want to pursue is never-ending, and the problems of life are only after getting things that do not belong to them, so contentment is the most important truth to understand in life.
This wisdom is actually about what we are talking about today, being able to work the root of life, that is, on the heart of oneself, to find where one should stay, so that one can give oneself a good life, rather than pursuing a wrong result under the guidance of mistakes.
Also running and moving forward, a person who knows what he needs, and a person who does not know what he needs but is always trying to get something, are completely different lives.
