Only by taking a hundred rivers can we become the sea. Therefore, when the troupe performed in Handan, Cui Lantian personally sent Zhang Baoying to Chen Suzhen's door. However, Chen Suzhen had already been wrongly classified as a "rightist" element at that time, and was in adversity, and he was both touched and embarrassed by Lan Tian's request.
"I'm a rightist, no one here is looking for me to learn things, you are now a party member, Bao Ying is a member of the league, you are looking for me to learn drama, are you not afraid of being affected?"

At that time, it was the period of three years of natural disasters, everyone was living a hard life of "melon vegetable generation", Cui Lantian understood that Chen Suzhen's life in this environment was more difficult, so he bought two high-priced fresh fish from his own pocket for Baoying to send to Chen Suzhen, Chen Suzhen saw the two fresh fish sent by Baoying, and two lines of hot tears flowed from her emaciated face, she did not say anything and pulled Up Baoying to her damp and dark hut, and passed on zhao Yanrong's moves in "Cosmic Front" to Baoying.
Under the careful teaching of Chen Suzhen, Zhang Baoying has more mastery of Chen Pai's singing characteristics and performance skills, especially the Zhao Yanrong she portrayed takes the path of Chen Pai, but inadvertently carries the distinctive characteristics of Cui Pai, which makes Chen Suzhen very satisfied.
After Zhang Baoying learned "Cosmic Front", when she returned to the troupe, Cui Lantian asked the main actors in the troupe, Qu Yongjie (as Zhao Gao) and Wang Xiangfang (as Qin II), to play her. He also personally directed the rehearsals. After the first performance, Cui Lantian was overjoyed that Kwa Baoying was a "chemical brain". Everyone said, "This girl has a real brain, not only does the water sleeve dance well, but she also sings quite like Chen Suzhen." ”
When the troupe returned to Anyang to perform the play to the leaders and the audience, Cui Lantian deliberately asked the theater to write five big characters on the poster: "Chen Suzhen Personally Taught". Since Chen Suzhen was classified as a rightist in 1957, her name has never been written on the poster when she performs, so the weight of these five words is extraordinary. From this, it can be seen how much Lan Tian respects Sister Chen's art and how deeply sympathetic he has for Sister Chen's suffering.
After the "Ten Years of Catastrophe," at the tian han memorial service held in Beijing, Chen Suzhen and Cui Lantian, two old sisters who had changed their faces and had white sideburns, were reunited after the disaster. As soon as the two of them met, Chen Suzhen inquired first: "Is Baoying still acting now?" What did she do to you? As an excellent descendant of the Art of Cui Pai in Yu Opera, Zhang Baoying held a special performance of her personal folding drama here, and she performed the famous Cui Pai drama "Qin Xianglian.
