Zhang Baoying, female, Han ethnicity, born in December 1940, graduated from Anyang Yu Theater. Famous Yu opera performance artist, national first-class actor, in 1959 to the Yu opera master Cui Lantian as a teacher, is an excellent descendant of Cui Pai, is the first of the top ten famous Dan of Yu opera today. He is currently a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, a director of the Chinese Drama Society, the vice chairman of the Henan Dramatists Association, the chairman of the Anyang Dramatists Association, an expert with outstanding contributions to the country, an outstanding expert in Henan Province, and a specially invited researcher of the Henan Provincial Art Research Institute. Zhang Baoying worked as a child laborer in a private cigarette factory when he was a child, in 1953 he entered the Changge County Yu Opera Troupe to learn drama, in 1955 he was admitted to the Anyang Yu Opera Troupe, in 1959 he studied Cui Lantian, one of the six famous Dans of Yu opera, carefully studied Cui Pai art, participated in the second provincial opera performance in the same year, won the Outstanding Actor Award, and then went to Xi'an to learn "Tour west Lake" from the Qin actor Ma Lanyu, in 1960 took this play to Shanghai to perform and received praise, in 1961 in Handan to learn performing arts and other skills from Master Chen Suzhen, the empress of Yu opera. In 1962, she went to Beijing to perform "Three Weeping Halls", and the famous dramatist Tian Han wrote an article in the People's Daily, praising her for "showing excellent talents" and "performing quite vividly and realistically".
In 1965, she played the female captain of "Playing Paifang" with Yu opera artist Ma Jinfeng, participated in the modern opera performance in central and southern China, joined the Communist Party of China in the same year, participated in the provincial celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1979, played the heroine Jiang Guizhi of Tian Han's adaptation of "Flower Gun", won the honorary award, and played Qin Xianglian in the Yu opera art film "Bao Qingtian" co-produced in Hong Kong and Henan at the end of the year. In 1980, he participated in the provincial Yu opera genre performance with his teacher, and then went to Beijing to perform "Peach Blossom Temple", "Three Crying Hall", "Chen Sanliang Climbing Hall", etc., in December 1985, he participated in the first provincial drama competition, starring in "Qin Xianglian's Later Biography" won the first prize in the performance, in 1987, he participated in the National Yu Opera Young Actors Television Dalian Competition, won the Best Actor Award, the Four Provinces and Fourteen Cities Yu Opera Young Actors Radio Grand Prix, won the first place in the Gold Award, and led the troupe into Beijing to perform "Peach Blossom An", "Selling Miao Lang", "Qin Xianglian Sequel", etc. He was also invited to Zhongnanhai to perform "Peach Blossom An" for the head of the Central Committee.
