Mr. Lin told the Beijing News reporter that the boy is 9 years old this year, his father is from Shandong, his mother Ms. Liu is from Tianjin, and the two have not registered for marriage. The boy lived with his biological father in Shandong before the age of 7, and is now raised by his mother alone and lives in a rental house near Luanshuidao.
Ms. Liu has a hearing impairment and receives a minimum security deposit and disability allowance totaling more than 2,000 yuan per month. On the evening of October 25, after finding the boy lost, the street office and the police immediately contacted Ms. Liu, but she did not answer the phone and refused to open the door.
Mr. Lin mentioned that boys often drop out of school and run away from home. When the boy ran away before, he often went to the vicinity of the local cultural center, and was repeatedly contacted by the police of the cultural center police station to send him back, and the boy once ran away alone to Ningxia and was sent back after being discovered by the local police station.
