(i) The three possibilities that Qin Shi Huang never made an empress

Qin Shi Huang Yingzheng in the TV series "Great Qin Fu" (played by Zhang Luyi)
Not long ago, the costume drama "Great Qin Fu" was broadcast, which told the story of Qin Shi Huang's yingzheng and the destruction of the Six Kingdoms and the unification of the world. As we all know, Qin Shi Huang was called the First Emperor of the Ages by posterity because he not only established the first unified feudal empire in Chinese history, but also the first person in Chinese history to self-proclaim himself emperor. However, if we examine the great achievements of Qin Shi Huang, we will find a particularly strange phenomenon, Qin Shi Huang has never been an empress in his lifetime! The first emperor in Chinese history was Qin Shi Huang, and the first empress was actually Empress Lü Yan of Han Gaozu, who was called emperor after overthrowing the Qin Dynasty, which is commonly known as Lü Hou.
People with a little historical common sense know that in ancient China, polygamy was implemented, that is to say, how many concubines a man took, only one wife, the emperor was the same, the empress was the right wife, and almost every emperor would make an empress.
Qin Shi Huang was neither single nor Dink, he had 23 sons and 10 daughters, and there were not many concubines who wanted to come to him, but why did he never make an empress?
In this regard, historians have generally had the following interpretations:
First, the work is too busy
When Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, he was always busy fighting wars and busy with government affairs. So for the harem, there is no time to care. After Qin Shi Huang became emperor, he began to be busy stabilizing the world, and most of his time was spent on parades. Perennial absence at home, this is also a reason why Qin Shi Huang did not make an empress
Second, self-esteem is very high
Qin Shi Huang established the first unified feudal empire in Chinese history, which was unprecedented, and he believed that his merits were better than those of the Three Emperors and Five Emperors, and he was the first person in ancient and modern times. Therefore, he felt that there was no need to make an empress, otherwise, there would be another person in the world who would sit on an equal footing with him.
Third, the relationship between mother and child is not good
Qin Shi Huang's failure to make empress may be because he did not believe in women, which is largely related to his birth mother Zhao Ji. He is said to have been at odds with his own mother for a long time, refusing to see his mother even for the rest of his life. This led to a psychological distortion that went from hating his mother to hating all women.
Work is too busy, self-esteem is very high, mother-child relationship is not good, which of these three statements is more reliable?
First analyze the first kind, Qin Shi Huang is indeed very busy, but no matter how busy the work is, it is necessary to start a family, since ancient times, the establishment of a family is complementary, behind every successful man stands a great woman, from Qin Shi Huang even gave birth to 23 sons, 10 daughters can be seen, Qin Shi Huang is not busy to the point of not being close to the female color, otherwise how did those more than 20 sons come from? Are they all like Sun Wukong, all jumping out of the cracks in the stone? Obviously this reason does not hold water.
Look at the second reason, Qin Shi Huang, who established such a great achievement, is a little arrogant, a little arrogant is inevitable, who does not have a little vanity? But I have never heard of any man worried that his career will become bigger, and someone will not marry his wife if he wants to share a piece of the pie, and it is difficult to tolerate two tigers in a mountain, unless a father and a mother, in order to compete for the throne, brothers and even fathers and sons will kill each other, never heard of the empress will rob the emperor's throne. Moreover, a good empress can also be a mother to the world, which is conducive to establishing the authority of the emperor. Then it seems that the second statement is also nonsense.
What about the third theory, through Sima Qian's "Records of History", Qin Shi Huang did not have a good relationship with his mother. Is there an inevitable connection between this and his failure to become empress?
(2) Because of a man, Qin Shi Huang completely turned his face with his mother?
Yan Yi in the TV series "Great Qin Fu" (played by Ye Xiangming)
According to the "Records of History", Qin Shi Huang's original name was Yin Zheng, and his mother Zhao Ji was first a concubine of the merchant Lü Buwei, who was doing business in the Zhao State at that time, and for the sake of power, he befriended the noble prince of the Qin State. He was the later King Xiang of Qinzhuang and the father of Qin Shi Huang. At that time, yiren was a hostage in Zhao Guo and was not welcomed, but Lü Buwei thought that this was a potential stock, and began to secretly help him, and even gave his concubine Zhao Ji to Yiren, and it was not long before Zhao Ji gave birth to a boy and named him Yingzheng. It seems that Lü Buwei regarded the inhuman as a political investment, even if he sent his own concubine.
Next, Lü Buwei continued to spend money, and then used heavy money to bribe Lady Huayang, who was in the Qin Kingdom at that time, so that Yiren became the adopted son of Lady Huayang. She was the wife of An Guojun, the imperial family of the Qin dynasty, which was hot at that time. With lü Buwei's help, he and the yiren escaped from the Zhao state and returned to the Qin state, and soon after, Lady Huayang's husband An Guojun took the throne, that is, King Xiaowen of Qin. Unexpectedly, three days after taking the throne, he died violently, and King Xiaowen of Qin was childless, so it was the turn of his son Yiren to ascend to the throne, which was King Xiang of Qinzhuang. In just a few years of hard work, this stranger changed from a hostage of the Zhao Kingdom to a king of the Qin State, and Lü Buwei, as an investor, simply made a lot of money, and I have to say that this Lü Buwei has a unique vision and superb wrists.
Unexpectedly, King Xiang of Qinzhuang also died three years after succeeding to the throne, and the 13-year-old Yingzheng took the throne, and Zhao Ji became the empress dowager. The King of Qin was young, and the government was controlled by Lü Buwei, at this time Lü Buwei was no longer a businessman, but a Qin minister who held great power, and although Zhao Ji was the empress dowager, she was only in her early thirties, and it was at the age of a wolf-like tiger that she suddenly became a widow, how could she withstand loneliness? So he rekindled his old love with Lü Buwei and continued the frontier. However, as Yingzheng gradually grew up, Lü Buwei was a little afraid, after all, the minister of a country and the empress dowager secretly had an affair, and it was rumored that there was a bad manner, plus the elderly and physical weakness, wanted to break up, and was afraid that Zhao Ji, who was already the empress, would not agree, so he came up with a trick to steal the beam and change the pillar, let the doorman Yan Yi shave off his beard, and pretend to be a fake eunuch to enter the palace to offer to the empress.
It was this man named Yan Yi who caused Yin Zheng to completely turn his face with his mother, and even severed the mother-son relationship from then on.
This concubine looked like a small fresh meat, it was said that it was very powerful in that regard, and the mother of Qin Shi Huang, that is, Zhao Ji, was particularly good, and the two were inseparable for a while, inseparable, once stayed on the carriage for five days without getting down, and soon, Zhao Ji was actually pregnant. In order to hide her eyes, she took her little lover out of the palace of the capital Xianyang and moved to the nearby Yongcheng on the grounds of physical discomfort. Unbeknownst to God, this empress dowager of the Qin kingdom actually gave birth to two illegitimate children for the male pet, and after that, Yan Yi ascended to heaven one step at a time and was named the Marquis of Changxin, and all the big and small affairs of the harem were decided by him, and the most exaggerated point was that the slaves raised in his family were once as many as a few thousand people, and they were about to catch up with the Qin Palace. At that time, the young man came to apply for a job, and instead of looking for the minister Lü Buwei, he directly threw himself under the door of this empress dowager's male favorite.
Therefore, Yan Yi's one-handed covering of the sky first caused Lü Buwei's dissatisfaction, you were originally just a disciple of my old Lü family! What does the doorman do? To say that it is ugly, it is mixed eating and drinking, good fellow, now that I am on the empress, I don't know where my eyes are? However, Lü Buwei was after all a merchant, the city government was deep, and his mind was poisonous, so he did not directly clash with Concubine Yi, but sent someone to report to the King of Qin that Concubine Yi had an affair with the empress. This matter is quite ridiculous to say, isn't it your Lü Buwei's masterpiece to let Yan Yi pretend to be a eunuch and blend into the palace? This is good, leave yourself behind!
In fact, regarding the ugly story of the mother's private raising of male pets, Yingzheng has long heard of it, where in the world is there an impermeable wall? However, at that time, he was still young and fledgling, so he had to turn a blind eye, but now that Yingzheng had reached adulthood, this "reputation" became very important, and he could no longer tolerate it, so he ordered the investigation of Yan Yi. As a result, he received a secret report that this concubine was a complete fake eunuch, who not only had an affair with the empress dowager, but also gave birth to two sons. As soon as Yingzheng heard it, his face could not be hung up, and at this time, another incident occurred, which completely angered Yingzheng! He decided to take the knife and cut him, so what was the matter?
This man, too proud, is easy to forget, and once When Concubine Yi was drunk and had an argument with the minister, she actually scolded the other party: "Do you dare to fight with me?" Do you know who I am? I am the King of Qin and his father! "I've seen death, I've never seen such a trick to die!" As soon as he turned around, the minister told Yin Zheng about this matter, and when Yin Zheng heard that his lungs were blown up, he directly sent someone to kill Yan Yi, who probably heard the sound of the wind and fled in fright.
You said you just go, but you actually remembered the rebellion, where are you the opponent of the King of Qin? In the end, the soldiers were defeated and captured, and without saying a word, Yin Zheng killed Yan Yi and used the most cruel punishment: car splitting, which is commonly known as the five horses and dividing the corpse. He even threw his two half-brothers to death in front of his mother! In the end, Zhao Ji was imprisoned and never met her for the rest of his life.
A pair of biological mother and son, in the end, turned against each other, like a strange road, which really made people sigh.
So what's the problem?
(3) Qin Shi Huang's attitude towards women can see the negative impact of his mother on him
Zhao Ji in the TV series "Great Qin Fu" (played by Zhu Zhu)
Let's tell the truth, Zhao Ji, as the birth mother of the King of Qin, has had an affair with three men, and this relatively open relationship between the sexes really makes Yin Zheng a little unacceptable. Moreover, at that time, there was also a saying that was widely circulated in the folk, that is, Zhao Ji, who was already pregnant with Lü Buwei's child when she transferred to Qin Zhuang Xiang wang. Therefore, many people began to suspect that Yingzheng's classmate was likely to be Lü Buwei's son, and King Xiang of Qinzhuang was equivalent to Xi Dang's father. Isn't this a scolding of the Qin King as a "wild seed", where can the self-esteem of Ying Zheng not stand this? Therefore, later Lü Buwei was also very miserable, and he directly ordered him to commit suicide.
Later, as the empress dowager, her mother openly raised male pets, and also had two sons with male pets, and the false eunuch actually presented herself as the father of the King of Qin.
In the impression of ordinary people, the image of the mother should be holy, but Qin Shi Huang's mother was so unruly, which made him feel very disgusted in his heart, and his psychology gradually became distorted. He gradually became suspicious, tyrannical and even ruthless, and he refused to meet his mother for the rest of his life, on the one hand, he could not face his mother's unbearable past, on the other hand, it reflected that his mother's behavior caused irreparable damage to his psychology, making him fearful and distrustful of women.
Here comes another question, is there any inevitable connection between Qin Shi Huang and his mother's deteriorating relationship with his uninitiated empress?
Psychology tells us that a person's parent-child relationship will deeply affect the relationship between the sexes. In emotional relationships, parents are our first teachers and most important role models in life. Our mate selection criteria, how we get along with our partners, and even our future family patterns are all subconsciously influenced by our parents. The satisfaction that childhood does not receive from parents or dissatisfaction with parents will be unconsciously transferred to the partner.
If the pain of childhood is not solved well, when you grow up, you will definitely bring this pain to your new feelings, new family, if you do not learn to forgive your parents who have hurt yourself, it is equivalent to not forgiving yourself, the seeds of resentment buried in the heart will one day take root and burst out more hateful energy, the more you hate a relative, the more you will inherit the negative energy of TA.
From Qin Shi Huang's later attitude toward women, we can see the negative impact of his mother: on the one hand, he hated the indisciplines of his mother's private life, and then he believed that no woman in the world could achieve motherhood in the world, and even feared that he owned a grassland like his father, King Xiang of Qinzhuang. On the other hand, he unconsciously inherited his mother's overly indulgent genes, although he never established a queen, but the harem still had many women and countless concubines. It is said that after he became emperor, he collected more than 10,000 beautiful women. But he only regarded these women as tools for inheritance, but he never respected them and loved them.
There are also very obvious examples of Qin Shi Huang's hatred of women, during Qin Shi Huang's parade, he carved stones in the south, and explicitly ordered that widows were not allowed to remarry, and men and women were not allowed to steal love. According to the "Chronicle of the Chronicle of Cargo Breeding", Qin Shi Huang only honored one woman in her lifetime, called widow Qing, it is said that she was a businesswoman, after her husband's death, she did not remarry, but also made the industry bigger and stronger, Qin Shi Huang commended her and named her "virgin woman". It can be seen that Qin Shi Huang hated his mother's indulgence, but instead liked chaste and martyr women. Fortunately, he did not reign too long, otherwise women would not even have the right to remarry.
It can be seen that a man must have a good relationship with his mother from an early age, otherwise he will only engage in one-night stands when he grows up, and he will not even have the will to get married. In this sense, Qin Shi Huang is a good negative teaching material!
