The "Xiangyanghong 06" ship completed the mission of the Pacific Summer Voyage

　　After 80 days, the "Xiangyanghong 06" ship recently completed the 2021 Pacific summer voyage and successfully returned to Qingdao. The task was organized and implemented by the Beihai Marine Engineering Survey Institute under the Beihai Bureau of the Ministry of Natural Resources. 50 expedition members and crew members from 11 units participated in the voyage.

　　It is understood that the voyage carried out a geophysical topographic and geomorphological survey, which filled the data gap in this area and clarified the evolution of geological structures, which is of far-reaching significance. The content of global change and sea-air interactions has been further enriched. At the same time, the voyage successfully carried out deep-sea multi-category sampling of the geological winch system, refreshed the operating capacity of the domestic winch, and broke the monopoly of foreign equipment. The domestic all-sea deep geological winch system successfully carried out the 7,000-meter comprehensive sea test task of the all-sea deep autonomous geological winch, and achieved breakthrough and innovative results. A number of box sampling, column sampling and trawl sampling operations were carried out, and various geological and biological samples were successfully obtained. The length of the discharge cable reached more than 11,000 meters, and the relevant materials and equipment were successfully tested. (Zhao Gaofei)
