Habermas's critique of Marx

Habermas replaced the economic base and superstructure with "systems" and "living worlds." He shifted from the critique of traditional materialization and instrumental rationality to the critique of "the colonization of the living world", revealing that the crisis that threatens the survival of mankind in today's capitalist society is not economic exploitation (Marx), nor political dictatorship and ideological domination (the early Frankfurt School), but the "colonization of the living world". At this point, he proposed a solution - the construction of "communication rationality".
