In the first month of the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), Li Zicheng, the king of Chuang, entered Xi'an and established the Dashun regime, with the era name "Yongchang". Soon after, he conquered Beijing and overthrew the Ming Dynasty. In April, Dorgon led the Eight Banner Army and the Ming general Wu Sangui to join forces and fought against Li Zicheng inside and outside Shanhaiguan. Li Zicheng was defeated, withdrew from Beijing, and led his army to fight against the Qing army in Henan and Shaanxi.

In March of the second year of Shunzhi (1645), the Dashun army forced the Southern Ming general Zuo Liangyu to occupy Wuchang, and Li Zicheng planned to go east by boat and seize the southeast as a base for anti-Qing resistance. However, the Dashun army was not yet fully prepared, and the Qing army suddenly attacked by land and water, and Li Zicheng hastily abandoned Wuchang and marched southeast. On May 17, 1645, in the second year of Shunzhi (1645), he was mistakenly killed by villagers at Jiugong Mountain in Tongcheng County, Hubei Province.

In 1644, Li Zicheng began to cast the era name Qian Yongchang Tongbao in Xi'an, Yongchang Tongbao is made of brass, there are small flat and folded five coins, minted several versions but the amount of existence is not large.

Yongchang Tongbao folded five dollars, bare back, now Xi'an casting after the turn to Xiangyang casting, the amount of survival is not much, Xiangyang version is even less.

Da Shun was only established to be destroyed in just two years, but the Ming Dynasty was still destroyed by the King of Chuang, and the Yongchang Tongbao was not minted for a long time, so the amount of existence was not large, and the current transaction price was above thousands.
