It was originally built as an earth castle, but was later destroyed by soldiers. In the eighteenth year of Ming Hongwu, Yongchang commanded Li Guan to rebuild the city, change the tucheng to a brick city, and build a sub-city at Taibao Mountain in the west of the city. In the 28th year of Hongwu, Yongchang commanded Hu Yuan to defend the city, demolished the Taibao Mountain Sub-City, imitated the Jinling Bao Zhongshan model, and built a city wall to take taibao Mountain into the city, and the whole city was in a downward trend. The city is surrounded by eight gates of Shengyang, Zhennan, Longquan, Anding, Yongding, Renshou, Tonghua and Gongbei, with six openings and two closures. There are more than three meters high on the city gate, and the four corners of the city tower are built with corner towers, and there is a cannon tower, a bell tower and a drum tower.
