Li Zicheng, a native of mizhi county in present-day Shaanxi Province, was poor in his early years and had a rather rough experience, he herded sheep for landlords when he was young, worked as a monk and blacksmith in his youth, worked as a pawn but was unemployed due to government layoffs. Later, because of the inability to repay the debt, he was tortured by the rich gentleman Ai Tongzhi, and was put on a shackle and knelt in the street to show the public, and later he was rescued by the pawns, hugged out of the city, no longer patient, and called on the starving people in the western part of the county to rebel, calling for a hundred responses.
The so-called heroes created by the times shows how dim and unpopular the official rule at the end of the Ming Dynasty was.
Chongzhen Emperor
Li Zicheng fought bravely, made many achievements in battle, known as the Eight Team Generals, at first was Gao Yingxiang's right-hand man, in 1636 Gao Yingxiang was captured and killed in the present-day Zhouzhi of Shaanxi, and the rest of the troops pushed themselves to become the King of Chuang, and since then there has been a famous "King Li Chuang" in history.
In the autumn of 1640, Bingbu Shangshu was equivalent to yang Sichang, the current minister of national defense, with troops from five provinces entering Sichuan to encircle and suppress Zhang Xianzhong and Luo Rucai, and the Central Plains were empty.
Li Zicheng personally led more than 50 horses to break through from the Brazilian Fish Belly Mountain, and in November, the stars flew to Henan, recruited hungry people into the army, robbed the rich and helped the poor, and the military might was greatly enhanced. Soon after, Song Xiance, Li Xin, and others joined the rebel army and assisted Li Zicheng in proposing slogans such as "Juntian is exempt from endowment".

Dashun Dynasty
In 1644, Li Zicheng's army attacked Beijing and overthrew the rule of the Ming Dynasty, and some generals thought that they were finished, so they indulged in wine, and military discipline became increasingly relaxed.
The old General Wu Sangui of daming guarded Shanhaiguan and held a grudge against his favorite concubine Chen Yuanyuan who had been snatched away by Li Zicheng.
Soon after, Li Zicheng led an army to march east to Shanhaiguan, and Wu Sangui, fearing Li Zicheng, privately led the Qing army into the customs to block Li Zicheng. Poor Li Zicheng fought hard with the Qing army for several days and finally lost, withdrew from the city of Beijing, and soon after entered tongshan county in present-day Tongshan County, Hubei Province, he was suddenly attacked by local armed forces and died at the age of 39.
