There are also many young people who cannot come to the scene in person, or send flowers through express delivery, or entrust friends to print and hand over letters to express their remembrance of Zhao Shiyan. On July 19, 94 years ago, Zhao Shiyan, who was only 26 years old, died heroically in Longhua, Shanghai. Zhao Shiyan was an outstanding proletarian revolutionary in the early days of the Communist Party of China, a famous leader of the workers' movement, and one of the main leaders of the three armed uprisings of the Workers in Shanghai. In the face of the severe white terror, he was not afraid of danger, and firmly stated: "The Communist Party is the party that fights... The Party must fight for a day as long as it exists, and if it does not want to participate in the struggle, it is still a Communist Party member! On July 2, 1927, Zhao Shiyan was unfortunately arrested. In the face of the ferocious enemy, he was awe-inspiring in his righteousness and unyielding, showing the fearless heroism of the Communists. Faced with the enemy's butcher's knife, Zhao Shiyan shouted "Long live the Communist Party of China" and heroically took justice.
In order to commemorate Zhao Shiyan, in the morning, the Longhua Martyrs Cemetery also held a special "meeting across time and space", inviting Zhao Shiyan, the grandson of Zhao Shiyan, The young actor Lin Junyi, who played Zhao Shiyan in "The Age of Awakening", and dozens of youth representatives to recall Zhao Shiyan's heroic deeds and inherit the heroic revolutionary spirit.
In the red class of the Longhua Martyrs Memorial Hall, Zhao Xinyan told the story of a photo of his grandfather with the "Thief of Dusk" written on it. In 1920, Zhao Shiyan went to France to work and study. While in France, he spent his spare time reading books. Every dusk, he always ran to the top floor platform of the factory alone, with the help of the sunset, hoping to "steal" more time to read, so he called himself the "thief of dusk". At the scene, Lin Junyi shared with the new youths what he felt when he played Zhao Shiyan, through a deep understanding of Zhao Shiyan, and when he empathized with him.
